Secondary source study based on the ENDES 2019-2020. The unit of analysis was all women aged 12 to 49 years residing in Peru in the years 2019-2020, who presented postpartum complications, and who answered the questions of the study variables. Results. It is evidenced that the age of 20 to 35 years has a prevalence ratio of 1.12 of ending in complications after delivery (RPa: 1,12, 95% CI: 1,07 to 1,18). In this work, we synthesized and characterized structurally the rare earth iron garnets R3Fe4.9Al0.1O12 (R = Sm, Gd) by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman microscopy, and magnetization. The samples were synthesized using the co-precipitation synthesis method and calcined at a temperature between 500 and 900 °C stepwise 100 °C. Sm3Fe4.9Al0.1O12 and Gd3Fe4.9Al0.1O12 powder samples were indexed with a garnet cubic structure belonging to the Ia3?d space group. Structural analyzes indicate that the inclusion of Al instead of Fe slightly decreases the temperature of magnetic ordering. Crystallite sizes calculated from Scherrer's equation and Williamson-Hall method from XDR were 118 nm and 103 nm for Sm3Fe4.9Al0.1O12 and Gd3Fe4.9Al0.1O12 respectively. The genus Schizodon is part of a group of headstanders and relatives (Family Anostomidae) that are widespread and ecologically important fishes in South American rivers. Schizodon includes 15 nominal species but their taxonomy has been challenging due to paucity of decisive characters to diagnose species. We present new molecular data to assess species boundaries or molecular operational taxonomic units (MOTUs), and to infer phylogenetic relationships among species. Evidence from two mitochondrial and three nuclear genes was used in these analyses. Mitochondrial DNA data for 112 specimens (from 11 nominal species) supported 13 consensus MOTUs, six of which matched valid nominal species (Schizodon borellii, S. fasciatus, S. intermedius, S. isognathus, S. knerii and S. scotorhabdotus). In this study, we determined the crystallographic, magnetization and electrical resistivity properties of a EuFe0.5Mn0.5O3 complex perovskite produced using a combustion synthesis method. The sample crystallized as an orthorhombic perovskite belonging to the Pbnm space group. Magnetization measurements indicated spin reorientation at 206 K and weak ferromagnetic-like ordering at low temperatures. Determining the magnetization as a function of the magnetic field demonstrated the presence of magnetic order, even at room temperature. Resistivity measurements indicated the existence of a small polaron conduction mechanism at high temperature. © 2020

Background: the Bender test, developed by Lauretta Bender, is intended to evaluate children’s perceptual maturity. Because the instrument lacks a standardized correction system, other researchers have designed different systems for this purpose at distinct periods. Objective: for the present research, we reviewed articles that included the Bender test to identify the most widely used correction systems. Method: eligibility criteria included the instrument application in children up to 10 years of age, focusing on evaluating cognitive aspects. Plant DNA and RNA extraction methods are well established, with a wide range of protocols, depending on the purposes of each laboratory/research. Nowadays, quick, inexpensive and easy plant DNA and RNA extraction methods are highly sought after. We developed an optimized protocol for plant DNA and RNA extraction that uses an inexpensive bench drill and plastic bags and does not require liquid nitrogen. DNA from leaves and RNA from leaves and roots of banana, pineapple, citrus, papaya, passion fruit and cassava, were extracted using a basic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide method. Both nucleic acids were quantified and evaluated for quality based on agarose gel electrophoresis. The DNA and RNA extractions were successful for all species, and RNA quality in pellets was maintained after storage at room temperature for three weeks.
