As a result, the area of maternal-fetal exchange is of 60.72 m2 in Cerro de Pasco, Puno 38.92 m2 and 26.60 m2 in Lima. The finding is interpreted as an adaptive mechanism of the placenta in height to the situation of hypoxia, to favor the phenomena of maternal-fetal exchange. Simple linear measurements of the thickness of the placenta showed no difference between groups in height and sea level. El presente trabajo consiste en el estudio de un conjunto de información comerciales de la compañía de telecomunicaciones Globalsat Perú y tiene la finalidad de identificar oportunidades de eficiencia en cuanto a los actuales planes de telefonía satelital. Los resultados del análisis permitirán a la compañía tener un sustento objetivo para la mejora del diseño de los productos que son parte del estudio. Esto a su vez, contribuirá con la mejora de la oferta comercial disponible en el mercado y, además, potencialmente tendrá un impacto en la rentabilidad de los planes analizados. En este estudio se utiliza como principal herramienta la metodología de ciencia de datos aprendida y sus fundamentos, poniendo en práctica de manera intensiva las técnicas de visualización desarrolladas a lo largo de los cursos pertenecientes a la especialización en ciencia de datos.

The newborn weights were similar in both places, however, placental weight and volume were higher in Puno, so the placental coefficient was higher in altitude. The macroscopic analysis in terms of parenchimal and non parenchimal tissue was not different in both groups, but the microscopic analysis showed richer capillarity with diminished villous in Puno. No differences were appreciated in the proportion of trophoblastic ephithelium. The total area of the chorial villous and capillary surface were significantly major in altitude. The authors postulate these morphologic changes favor the metabolic placental exchange in the hypoxic environment of high altitude.

There is another description of ℤp as a quotient of the power series ring ℤ[[X]], which can be found in some texts of p-adic analysis (see e.g. [3]). More specifically, there exists a ring isomorphism. Ψ : ℤ[[X]]/〈p − X〉 → ℤp. However, this isomorphism is also topological in nature, but there is no proof of this fact in the corresponding literature. In this article we will prove in sufficient detail that the above description is also valid in the context of topological rings.

Objective. To describe the quality of life in patients with idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias treated at the Instituto Nacional Cardiovascular INCOR in Lima -Peru. Materials and methods. Analytical and cross-sectional study of patients with idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias treated by 3D ablation or antiarrhythmic therapy between July 2017 and December 2019 to whom the SF-36 health questionnaire was applied to assess quality of life related to health. Results. Fifty-two patients with idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias were included (34 underwent 3D ablation, and 18 underwent antiarrhythmic therapy only). The percentage of recurrence (14.7% vs. 50%, p=0.01) and adverse effects (0% vs. 22.2%, p=0.011) were lower in the 3D ablation group compared to the antiarrhythmic group. Interatrial septal occlusion devices hinder the transseptal approach for atrial fibrillation ablation,making it necessary to have imaging methods that safely guide transseptal puncture, such as intracardiac echocardiography (ICE). We describe the case of a 49-year-old patient with symptomatic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, refractory to antiarrhythmic drugs, wearing an interatrial septal occlusion device, with a previous unsuccessful ablation attempt. Atrial fibrillation ablation was performed using the Carto V7 3D mapping system,  the transseptal puncture was guided by ICE, and the procedure was successful. This case report highlights the importance of multimodality imaging to achieve successful and effective transseptal puncture for atrial fibrillation ablation in patients with interatrial septal occlusion devices.
