Objective: To assess the presence of Dengue, Chikungunya, and Zika in serum samples of patients with acute febrile illness in Piura, Peru and describe the most common clinical features. Results: Dengue was the most common arbovirus detected in 170/496 (34.3%), followed by Zika in 39/496 (7.9%) and Chikungunya in 23/496 (4.6%). Among the 170 samples positive for Dengue, serotype 2 was the most predominant type present in 97/170 (57.1%) of samples, followed by the serotype 3 in 9/170 (5.3%). Headaches, muscle pain, and joint pain were the most common symptoms associated with fever in patients with Dengue and Zika. The pectoralis major (PMa) and pectoralis minor (PMi) muscles differ from each other in almost every aspect, despite the fact that they are localized very close to each other. While indirect traumatic injury is more common in PMa rupture, PMi avulsion via direct trauma injury is more frequently documented. Despite the low activity of the PMa during everyday movements, the patient’s cosmetic satisfaction and functional results are significantly better with surgical treatment compared to conservative treatment. Purpose: To carry out a bibliometric analysis of the scientific articles that address the topic of arthroscopy of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Methods: A bibliographic search of the original articles published in orthopedics journals indexed in the Web of Science database until 2020 was carried out. Evaluation of compliance with the inclusion criteria was carried out in the Rayyan web application. The Bibliometrix package in the R programming language and VOSviewer were used to perform the bibliometric analysis. Results: 2249 articles published in 87 journals were included. The aim of this study was to report the characteristics of scientific articles that address the subject of the Latarjet procedure through the use of bibliometric analysis. Se presenta el caso de un paciente varón, de 7 años, con enfermedad por arañazo de gato, causada por Bartonella henselae. El paciente llegó al Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Matins en dos oprtunidades con estado epiléptico, en ambos casos el diagnóstico fue encefalitis por Bartonella henselae.

The presence of El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) implies the presence of fluctuating rains in coastal areas and these changes influence the occurrence of febrile syndromes outbreaks. In Peru, Aedes aegypti is the vector responsible for various viruses such as the dengue, Zika, chikungunya, which is distributed in 18 Peruvian departments. These viruses cause similar clinical characteristics in the host and for this reason rapid, sensitive and specific diagnostic tests are needed so that the patient can receive timely treatment.
