We review the  latest insigths on the understanding of immununosenenscense, or aging of the inmune systeni. This process results from  the interaction between bothl inborn (genetic) and acquired (nutritional status, lifestyle,  and host-parasitic interaction) features. Among genetic features, genetically controled expression of HLA system molecules on inmune cells and possible linkage of some allelies expression to  longer longevity stand out. Other main features are changes of the aged patient inmune system and understand of  of thymus involution as well as changes in the distribution, quality, and quantilty of lympliocyte sub-populations. This study analizes Daniel Alcides Carrion role as a cultural hero and central element of Peruvian medical tradition. We verify the meaning of the elaboration process of Carrion’s experiment in a political struggle and national reconstruction scenery that converges with the beginning of the century aristocratic elite positivism. Objetivo: Evaluar el efecto del Ibuprofeno y Celecoxib en la fertilidad en ratas hembra. Material y métodos: Se seleccionaron 22 ratas hembra Holtzman de 14 semanas, que se encontraban en la etapa de diestro, determinada mediante evaluación de citología vaginal, quienes fueron distribuidas en tres grupos, y tratados oralmente durante dos días, de la siguiente manera: Grupo control: suero fisiológico 1 ml/100g, grupo experimental 1: Ibuprofeno 120 mg/kg/día y grupo experimental 2: Celecoxib 20 mg/kg/día. Después de dos días fueron apareados con los machos, hasta el término del próximo ciclo estral. Las ratas fueron eutanizadas 10 días después de la separación del macho y se evaluó la presencia y número de embriones implantados.
