Objective: Soluble antigens of ABO blood group system are found in the mucosa, this characteristic is called secretor status, has been associated with various pathological conditions and is determined by the allele of the FUT2 gene present in the individual. The aim of the present study was to generate the first report of the secretor status in a Peruvian population. Materials and Methods: 102 undergraduate students were selected, requesting their consent to verify their blood group through direct hemagglutination and a saliva sample donation. Secretor status was determined by hemagglutination inhibition assay with saliva, being found that 5% of individuals were non-secretors. Results: Regarding the ABO system, 76% presented group O (soluble antigen H); 19%, group A and 5%, group B. Conclusion: A high frequency of the secretor phenotype was found, suggesting the importance of conducting ...

The aim of this study was to assess postoperative pain from elective ovariohysterectomy or orchiectomy surgery in 66 felines (41 females and 25 males), using the UNESP-Botucatu multidimensional pain scale with emphasis on subscale 1 and 2. The analgesic protocol used included meloxicam 0.05 mg/kg and tramadol 3 mg/kg plus ketamine 10 mg/kg IV induction and maintenance at 5 mg/kg. The evaluation was carried out when the felines were without anesthetic effect and could reliably manifest behavioral disturbances indicative of pain associated with surgery. Pain assessments were conducted by two observers. The results showed that 89.4% of patients presented mild postoperative pain and 10.6% moderate pain. The concepts of disinformation and misinformation have almost as many meanings as the number of authors who have treated them. Considered from the semiotic and psychological point of view, disinformation and misinformation seem to be the result of the inadequacy of what is communicated to the reality of an object. The focus of both Political Science and Public Relations is set on disinformation / misinformation as an example of how masses and public opinion can be manipulated, while the vision of Communication Sciences and Information considers such behaviours as natural features of the media in a clearly oversaturated communications ecosystem. La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el marketing relacional y fidelización en la asociación de agricultores y productores - Tabalosos 2020. El estudio fue de tipo básica, diseño no experimental, cuya población y muestra fue de 37 socios, la técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario.
