From the leaves, flowers and seeds of the Toe or "Misha Toro" (Datura Sanguino (R. & P.) D.Don), a plant collected in the Province of Huancabamba (Department of Piura, in the northern highlands of Peru) was isolated the alkaloid scopolamine, which was identified by its mass spectra, RMN1H and RMN13C. In addition, the qualitative analysis of the secondary metabolites and the quantification of alkaloids present in the different organs of this plant were carried out.

From the lichen Umbilicaria calvescens Nyl., was made the isolation of the major lichen compounds: usnic acid and lecanoric acid. Isolation of lichen compounds was performed by column chromatography (CC) and thin layer chromatography (CCF) of the extracts made in acetone and hexane. Yellow crystals were obtained from the n-hexane extract, while a white solid was obtained from the acetone extract. The crystals obtained were identified by their physical characteristics and by the UV, IR, MS, 1 H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectra.

This paper describes the phytochemical analysis of the lyophilized juice of the tubers from Ullucus tuberosus, native of the Andean region, which are used in Peruvian gastronomy. From organic solvents extraction and separation by transesterification of fatty acids and chromatography methods, the presence of palmitic acid methyl ester and stigmasterol and spinasterol steroids in the species under study were first identified, these compounds were identified by analysis of its nuclear magnetic resonance spectra hydrogen-1 and carbon-13.

From the apolar extract of the roots of garlic Sacha Mansoa alliacea collected in the Botanical garden of Center of Rehabilitation of addictions and research of traditional medicines – Takiwasi (Tarapoto, San Martin region, in the Peruvian Amazon) identified stigmasterol (90,36 %) and γ-sitosterol (8,76 %) as their main sterols, wich were analyzed by gas chromatography and identified by their mass spectra. In addition, was the qualitative analisys of the secondary metabolites.
