In the intricate process of translating The Complete Poetry of César Vallejo into Japanese, which was published in 2016 by the Gendai Kikakushitsu Publishing House in Tokyo, the most difficult challenge for the translator was, without doubt, the reproduction of the poetic language of The Blacks Heralds, because in this collection of poems, our poet is still looking for his own style, sometimes imitating the existing currents such as Spanish American modernismo. In contrast to the post-Trilce works of Vallejo, for which the translator could invent his own style «closed in itself», The Blacks Heralds, required him to access several corpus of the modern Japanese expression —the vocabulary of Japanese poets of the same period as The Blacks Heralds, and even the Japanese translated versions of Western poetry— to reproduce the complex poetic formation which beats in the book.

Este artículo presenta evidencias de cerámica asociadas al estilo “Cupisnique Clásico” en los sitios de Campanayuq Rumi en la sierra centro-sur y Piquimina en lasierra central. Estas muestras del “Cupisnique Clásico” identificadas fuera de su lugar de origen en la costa norte, permiten evaluar la naturaleza e implicancias de las interacciones sociales de carácter interregional durante el Periodo Inicial.  

Las excavaciones realizadas en el sitio de Sajara-patac, en la cuenca del alto Huallaga, ofrecen una oportunidad de entender la naturaleza del manejo del espacio ritual durante el Horizonte Temprano. Las nuevas evidencias han revelado la relación integral entre las actividades rituales, los festines y la renovación de arquitectura ceremonial. Aunque el manejo del espacio ritual en Sajara-patac muestra su filiación a la esfera de interacción chavín, la ideología religiosa de Chavín de Huántar fue aceptada mediante interpretaciones locales.

El objetivo principal de este artículo es la construcción de la cronología del sitio arqueológico de Campanayuq Rumi, un gran centro ceremonial del Periodo Formativo ubicado en la sierra centro-sur del Perú. Para ello se tomó como base 12 fechados radiocarbónicos obtenidos de las excavaciones de los autores en combinación con los datos de las secuencias arquitectónica y cerámica. Mediante una interpretación integral, se pretende presentar una nueva cronología para este complejo.

Previous cross cultural research has documented high agreement in judgments of facial expressions of emotion, however, none of the previous studies has included data from Mexican culture. Participants were 229 Mexican college students (mean age 21.79). Results indicate that each of the seven universal emotions: anger, contempt, disgust, fear, happiness, sadness and surprise was recognized by the participants above chance levels (p < .001), regardless of the gender or ethnicity of the posers. These findings replicate reported data on the high cross cultural agreement in emotion recognition (Ekman, 1994) and contribute to the increasing body of evidence regardingthe universality of emotions.
