Objective: This article aims to determine the factors associated with business mortality in the province of Huánuco. Methodology: A quantitative and descriptive approach was adopted to analyze business mortality in the province. The sample was selected through proportional stratified sampling, dividing the population into strata based on economic activity and business size. Simple random sampling was applied in each stratum, resulting in a sample of 157 entrepreneurs. Results: Entrepreneurs in Huánuco perceive a significant economic impact, with over 69% indicating a major impact. The critical importance of effectively managing economic and external factors for business survival is highlighted. Conclusion: The perception of entrepreneurs in Huánuco underscores the critical relevance of efficiently managing economic and external factors to ensure business survival and success.

Objective. To determine the effectiveness of the balanced scorecard management model in improving the quality of customer service at the Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico Privado Juan Bosco at Huánuco, 2020. Methods. The study had a quantitative, applied approach, with a quasi-experimental experimental design. The sample was non-probabilistic and consisted of 90 students, 45 for the control group and 45 for the experimental group, to whom a questionnaire with 40 items was applied at the beginning and end of the research work. The general objective of this study was to analyze the level of financial literacy among higher education students in Huánuco, 2024. The methods included a quantitative and descriptive approach to analyze university students' financial literacy. The sample included 184 university students from the Faculty of Economics who were administered a prototype Likert test. The findings revealed that economics students have considerably good financial literacy, representing 83.2% of the respondents, meaning that the vast majority of students have a satisfactory level of proficiency. Objective. To determine the relationship between public management and the results-based budget in the Dirección Regional de Educación Huánuco. Methods. The descriptive method was used. The population consisted of 56 workers in charge of planning, executing and monitoring institutional management. The survey and bibliographic compilation were used as data collection techniques; then, in order to analyze the results, they were tabulated, tables and graphs were prepared and interpreted. Results. Objective. To analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the entrepreneurs of MYPES, clients of the accounting firm C-PROVICSA, Huanuco, 2020. Methods. Methods. The study had a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design and the study method was descriptive. The population consisted of 115 entrepreneurs of MYPES that received advice from the accounting firm C-PROVICSA in the period 2020 in the province of Huánuco. Objective. Economic growth and monetary poverty are very important economic variables for decision-making in public policy since they allow improving the well-being of the inhabitants of a country, for which the research work established the objective of determining the relationship between these two variables for the department of Huánuco in the period 2009 to 2018. The purpose of this study was to identify, describe, and explain the necessary professional competencies that Huánuco economists must develop and possess in a complex post-pandemic scenario. The research was framed within a quantitative approach methodology, using a non-experimental design, based on the observation of the profile of the Huánuco economist in the post-COVID period, of an applied type.
