Objetivo. Determinar la caracterización del cuidador de la persona adulta mayor. Métodos. Se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo simple con 60 cuidadores, procedentes CLAS Pillcomarca, distrito de Pillcomarca, departamento de Huánuco, durante el periodo 2011. En la recolección de los datos se utilizaron diferentes cuestionarios y escalas psicológicas. Para el análisis inferencial de los resultados se utilizó la Prueba Chi cuadrada para comparación de una sola muestra. Resultados. Objective. To determine the characterization of the caretaker of the elderly person. Methods. They conducted a simple descriptive study with 60 caregivers, from CLAS Pillcomarca, Pillcomarca district, department of Huanuco, during the period 2011. In the collection of data used different scales and psychological questionnaires. For the inferential analysis of the results was used Chi-square test for comparison of a single sample. Results. 65.0% of caregivers of older adults were children, 78.3% were female, 63.3% of Catholic religion, 58.3% were homemakers, 80.0% had low incomes and over 6 years of care, 61.7% had mild depression, 15.0% fatigue and sleep disturbances, irritability, and 86.7% reported 71.7% had low back problems. Para determinar la relación entre el Plan Curricular y el perfil profesional del egresado de enfermería en estudio se diseñó un estudio correlacional con 21 egresados y 25 docentes de la Facultad de Enfermería de Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizán de Huánuco, durante el período de 2007. Los datos se obtuvieron de un cuestionario y test de evaluación de desempeño. Se realizó un análisis bivariado mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Se muestra que el 71,4% de los egresados alcanzó un desempeño superior, el 28,6% de promedio y ningún egresado llegó al nivel de inferior. En la valoración de la situación curricular el 52,4% de los egresados señalan que no reviste de gravedad, mientras que los docentes en 52,0% aseguran un problema moderadamente grave. To determine the relation between the Curricular Plan and the professional profile of the withdrawn one of infirmary in study. A corelational study with 21 withdrawn was designed and 25 educational ones of the Faculty of Infirmary of National University Hermilio Valdizán of Huánuco, during the period of 2007.
