The aim of this study was to determine the percentage of viability in alpaca epididymal spermatozoa before and after the cryopreservation process by flow cytometry. A total of 46 alpaca testes were collected from a slaughterhouse in Pasco, Peru and 41 of them were used with sperm motility ≥30% and sperm concentration ≥50x106 sperm/ml. Spermatozoa were recovered from the tail of the epididymis with 1 ml of skimmed milk-based extender, separating into two aliquots to evaluate viability before and after the cryopreservation process. The extender was removed by washing by centrifugation with PBS, the pellets were resuspended in 100 μl of PBS, adding 0.5 μl of SYBR-14 (100 nM) and 0.5 μl of propidium iodide - PI (12 μM), and incubated for 10 min at 38 °C. El objetivo estratégico de desarrollo sostenible 04 que garantiza una educación inclusiva, equitativa y de calidad y promueve oportunidades de aprendizaje durante toda la vida para todos dio origen al presente trabajo de investigación. Este estudio analizó la relación entre el estrés laboral y el desempeño docente en una institución educativa pública de la Región Moquegua en el año 2025. Bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y nivel correlacional, se aplicaron encuestas estructuradas a 50 docentes, evaluando las dimensiones de agotamiento emocional y despersonalización (para el estrés laboral), así como la preparación y la enseñanza para el aprendizaje (para el desempeño docente). El trabajo consiste en proponer la metodología del mantenimiento centrado en confiabilidad (Reliability Centered Maintenance-RCM) para mejorar la gestión del mantenimiento apoyada en dos herramientas de calidad, estas son: el diagrama de Pareto y el análisis de modos y efectos de falla (AMEF) en una planta siderúrgica. Uno de los principales problemas de la planta es la ocurrencia de paradas debidas a fallas de los activos o problemas operativos que generan pérdidas de producción. Volcanic activity is always accompanied by the transfer of heat from the Earth’s crust to the atmosphere. This heat can be measured from space and its measurement is a very useful tool for detecting volcanic activity on a global scale. MIROVA (Middle Infrared Observation of Volcanic Activity) is an automatic volcano hot spot detection system, based on the analysis of MODIS data (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer). The system is able to detect, locate and quantify thermal anomalies in near real-time, by providing, on a dedicated website (www.mirovaweb.it), infrared images and thermal flux time-series on over 200 volcanoes worldwide. Thanks to its simple interface and intuitive representation of the data, MIROVA is currently used by several volcano observatories for daily monitoring activities and reporting.
