The main purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the selection of recreational activity of university students. A total of 156 students, 98 female and 58 male, studying at various faculties in İzmir Universities, participated in the survey. Objective: To assess the role of brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in fetusespresenting with isolated ventriculomegaly (IVM) in the ultrasound (US) evaluationof the fetal brain. Methods: US and MRI findings of 197 fetuses diagnosed withIVM between November 2018 and November 2020 were retrospectively evaluated.Fetuses with abnormal karyotypes, additional anomalies, or known etiologies forventriculomegaly were excluded. US and MRI findings were compared both in termsof mean ventricular measurements and IVM grade. Results: MRI measurementswere significantly higher in mild IMV (10.33 ± 0.38 mm vs. 11.11 ± 0.51 mm, p<0.001) compared to US. Thermal comfort is influenced by climate, expectations and adaptation opportunities. Hence the emergence of adaptive thermal comfort standards. Unfortunately, international adaptive standards and much of the underlying literature, are based on data collected from middle-income individuals in office or apartment blocks, raising the question of their validity in other contexts. This paper is the first large-scale investigation of the applicability of these standards to populations living in refugee/displacement camps, to establish whether comfort theory needs to be modified for such populations. Con el objetivo de estudiar la distribución altitudinal de los reptiles presentes en el bosque Agua Blanca, perteneciente al distrito de Canchaque, provincia de Huancabamba, Piura, se estratificó el área de estudio en cinco zonas, cuyas altitudes fueron desde 1 150 hasta 3 328 msnm; cuyo periodo de evaluación comprendió los meses de febrero a julio de 2021, empleando los métodos de la parcela y Ad libitum. El propósito de esta investigación fue evaluar la influencia de la temperatura de cocción y los efectos de la adición de diatomitas obre las propiedades físicas y mecánicas de ladrillos artesanales que se fabrican en la región Ayacucho. Se prepararon y probaron cuatro dosificaciones de 0%, 10%, 20% y 30%. Para estudiar la influencia del proceso de cocción sobre las características del ladrillo artesanal, se caracterizó el perfil térmico de un horno tipo volcán y se fabricaron probetas cúbicas de 1.5” que fueron cocidas en un horno eléctrico a 750 °C, 850 °C y 950 °C.
