Las redes de colaboración de multicentros son esenciales para el avance de la investigación y mejorando la atención clínica de variedad de condiciones. La redes de investigación son particularmente importantes para las infecciones del sistema nervioso central, las cuales son difíciles de estudiar. Se revisa nuestra experiencia de desarrollo de redes de investigación en encefalitis en doce hospitales de cinco ciudades peruanas desde el año 2009, y se presentan sugerencias prácticas para ayudar a otros grupos de investigación en áreas de recursos limitados.

In Condebamba Valley (Cajamarca) between February and July 1973; 69 crabs Pseudothelphusa chilensis were collected, of them (34 males and 35 females) 22 (64.7%) males and 29 (28.85%) females were infected with metacercariae, this results are consistent with Cuba et al. (1974) report.

En los meses de febrero y julio de 1973 se colectaron cangrejos del Valle de Condebamba (Cajamarca) correspondientes a Pseudothelphusa chilensis, 69 de ellos (34 machos y 35 hembras) fueron examinados, buscando metacercarias de Paragonimus; 22 (64.7%) de los machos y 29 (28.85 %) de las hembras resultaron infectados con metacercarias, o sea 52 (72.46%) de los 69 cangrejos estaban infectados, esta cifra es coincidente con la obtenida por Cuba y cols. (1974).

This work presents the results of the analysis done on obsidians samples that belong to three archeological collections at the Museum of Archeology and Anthropology of San Marcos University (MacNeish's collection, • dated toan age 8000- 3500 b. C.) and the I.N.C. Regional Museum at lea (Maymi and Casa Vieja collections, corresponding to the Middle Horizon period 800 a. D.). A randomized trial was carry with 40 pregnants, that were being attended, in their second trimester, in the Prenatal Clinics of the MaternoPerinatal Institute (IMAPE). The first group received ferric hidrate polimaltose non ionic compund, in amount that equals 100 mg. of elemental iron, associated to 350 mg. of folic acid. After eigth weeks of treatment, when the patients were in their third trimester of pregnancy, were evaluated. The findings at this moment showed that hematic profile, of the pregnants that received iron, was signicatively better in relation to the control group. Only 2.3% of the patients presented intolerance to the substance used. On the basis of the general knowledge and the experience obtained with this study, a risk table for the anemia in pregnancy and a scheme for its treatment based on the figures obtained, for each level, are proposed.
