Yacon , using a experimental biomodel by hypoglycemia in normoglycemic rats of species Rattus norvegicus Var. Albine. The object of the research was to observe the 10 % aqueous extract effect of Smallantus sonchifolius (Poepp) Rob. Yacon in the decay of glycemia against glibenclamide, c1orprofamide and metformine drugs that have great usage in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2). The vegetal material was collected in the Huancabamba district, province of Oxapampa in Cerro de Pasco department. The pharmaeological assay was taken with 36 female albine rats of Holtzman strain , with a average weight of 240g that were fed by a controlled foad and water ad libitum until the moment of experi...

The study aimed to analyze the chemical composition of the essential oil from leaves of Petroselinum crispum (Mill) Nyman ex A.W. Hill "perejil" and determine antibacterial activity. Essential oil was obtained treating 20 kg of fresh leaves with a distillation equipment by dragging with steam; obtaining performance of 0,02 per cent and four milliliters of oil v/p. In the qualitative analysis was analyzed its solubility in organic solvents, and chemical components were determined by gas chromatography / mass spectrometry (GC/MS), achieving the elucidation of the following compounds: 1R-α-pinene, β-pinene, β-phellandrene, p,α-dimethyl estirene, (E)-2-caren-4-ol, 1,3-benzodioxol-(2-propenil) 4-metoxy-6, 1,3-benzodioxol, 4,7-dimetoxy-5-(2-propenil)-. In vitro bacterial activity determination was made by the method of diffusion in agar, demonstrating significant activity to Staphylococcus...

Industrial effluents without treatment or supervision by the authorities pollute the environment. Solving the problem does not go only by the control, supervision and penalties for companies that generate effluents, require its own investigation as well as develop specific treatments, accessible and affordable that can be adopted by each industry. The primary treatment is removal by physical or chemical means a substantial part of sedimentable or floating material, reducing an important fraction of the organic load, which represents a significant percentage of solid contaminants. Within the types of primary treatment quote coagulation and flocculation. The main objective was to evaluate the efficacy of two coagulants in reducing the pollution potential of effluents from the fruit processing plant. To make the primary treatment: were assayed two chemical substances, aluminum sulfate as in...

The properties of Annona muricata L. (guanabana) have been demonstrated in studies carried out on the its leaves, pulp, seeds, stems and fruit peel; highlighting in each of them its antioxidant properties. In the present work the quantification of the total polyphenols and the evaluation of the antioxidant capacity in the ethanolic extract of the flowers of Annona muricata L. (guanabana) was carried out. The flowers samples were collected in the province of Jaen (Cajamarca, Peru). The ethanolic extract was obtained by maceration of the pulverized dried flowers. The quantification of the polyphenols in the ethanolic extract of the flowers was carried out using the Folin-Ciocalteu technique using gallic acid as a pattern. The evaluation of the antioxidant capacity was carried out using the methods of capturing the radical’s DPPH and ABTS. + using the Trolox as a pattern for both methods....

In the present investigation a phitochemical study of Prezia multiflora(H et B) lees Escorsonera was accomplished in order to determine the presence of secondary metabolites. A botanic study of this specie has been made to indicate its systematic location and morfhological description.A chemical and pharmacological review of the mayor components, as flavonoids and alcaloids; has also been performed. TLC and preparative chromatography were done, ending with the separation of two flavonoids. The identification of the flavonoid (flavonone type) as 7-O-RHAMNOGLUCOSIDE-3',5- DIHYDROXY -4'METOXYFLAVANONE, was done by UV spectroscopy. The other one probably would be: 3',5,7-TRIDIHYDROXY -4' -METOXYFLAVANONE. Two alcaloids were also identified and their probable structure would be: 1,4-(1,3-PIPERIDIL-DIENO)-2,5-0XO-6-HYDROXY-2H,3H-INDOL-ETENO and 1,4-(1,3-PIPERIDIL-DIENO)-2,5-0XO-6-0-GLUCOSYL-2H...
