The ethanolic extract of the stalk of Abuta grandifolia(MART) Sandwith «abruta » contains two types of alkaloids, one is very soluble in ethilic ether one the other one is water soluble. They correspond to alkaloids of quaternary ammoniun type. They have citotaxic properties against formed system by eggs of sea urchin; and it confirmed against a VERO cell line.For determining the antitumoral effect, it was carried out an essay with cell line of the (HEP-2) human Laryngelal epydermoidal carcinoma resulting in a citotoxic response of 91% and 95% at a concentrations of 0.24 and 0.06 mg/dL.A alkaloid fraction named A, wich IR spectroscopical properties show absorption bands corresponding to alkaloids of quaternary ammonium type, it has antitumoral piopierties.

Study objective was performing the structural elucidation of the essential oil of Ruta graveolens L. Ruda, determine its antioxidant activity and cytotoxicity testing. The complete plants were collected in Tarma, Region of Junin, and provided 1,80 kg of fresh leaves that were treated in a drag system with water vapor, obtaining performance of 0,3% v/p essential oil perfusion. The structural elucidation of chemical constituents of essential oil was performed by Gas Chromatography – Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), stressing the identification of the following chemical components: 2-octanona 2-nonanona, nonanal, ciclohexen-5, 6-dietenil-1-methyl-, 2-decanona, nonyl ether, methyl 2-undecanona, ciclotetradecano, 2-dodecanona and 2-tridecanona. The objective of the study was to elucidate the structure of the etanólic extract of the stem of Brunfelsia grandiflora D. Don and to evaluate its citotoxicity and the neuropathological effect on rat cerebellum. Obtained the extract the structural elucidation was made by Gas Chromatography/was made /Espectrometría of Masa (CG/EM), identifying the chemical components: Etil ester of vainíllic, octacosano, octadecan acid, palmític acid, 7 hidroxi-6-metoxi-cumarin, linoleate of ethyl and linoleic acid. The cytotoxic analysis was evaluated in embryos of Tetrapygus Niger black sea urchin, applying different concentrations of the extract.
