Se analizó la composición química, actividad antioxidante, antimicrobiana y antifúngica del aceite esencial de hojas y flores de Porophyllum ruderale (Jacq.) Cass. subsp. macrocephalum (DC.) R.R. Johnson originaria de las provincias de Jaén y San Ignacio en Cajamarca. Species supplying antioxidant essential oils are considered valuable for health applications.
