The aim of this study was to evaluate three pour on commercial formulations under field and in vitro conditions on the control of Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus in naturally infested cattle in Oxapampa, Peru. For the field evaluation 105 cattle having 30 or more engorged female ticks in one flank were selected and equally distributed in three groups of 35 animal each: Fipronil 1% + Abamectin 0.5% + Neem Oil 2% (FAN), Flumethrin 1% + Eprinomectin 0.5% (FE), and Flumethrin 1% + Fluazuron 2.5% (FF). All animals were treated with 1 ml/10 kg bw via pour on the dorsal line. The number of >4.5 mm engorged female was counted on days 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, and 56 post-treatment. El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar la eficacia de tres formulaciones comerciales pour on bajo condiciones de campo e in vitro sobre el control de Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus en bovinos naturalmente infestados, en la zona de Oxapampa, Perú. Se trabajó con 105 bovinos infestados con 30 o más teleoginas en un flanco. Los animales se distribuyeron en tres grupos de 35 animales c/u tratados con Fipronil 1% + Abamectina 0.5% + Aceite de Neem 2% (FAN), Flumetrina 1% + Eprinomectina 0.5% (FE) y Flumetrina 1% + Fluazurón 2.5% (FF), respectivamente. The damage assessment caused by floods, earthquakes, hurricanes among others phenomenons in the world are analyzed with methodologies such as "Vulnerability curves". In Peru, disasters caused by hyperconcentrated flows are alarming due to a climatic variability such as the "El Nio Costero"phenomenon. Therefore, this research has developed vulnerability curves for 1 and 2-story confined masonry buildings in Urb. Heavy rains and El Nio phenomenon are recurring natural phenomena at a national level. These can cause floods due to the overflowing of rivers, which, when close to cities, can cause both human and material losses. The district of Catacaos, located in the city of Piura, was the one with the highest number of injuries due to the flood caused by El Nio phenomenon in 2017. This phenomenon causes a large amounts of rainfalls due to the presence of abnormally warm waters along the northern coast of Peru [1]. It is for this reason that the need arose to carry out an analysis of the physical vulnerability due to instability of people through static equilibrium, in said district, in order to present maps of unsafe areas in the face of this phenomenon. We report the first case of Myroides phaeus isolated from blood, causing bacteremia in an immunocompromised patient using the automated MicroScan Walk Away 96 system, followed by bacterial identification by amplification-sequencing of the 16S rDNA. The sequences obtained were compared with the reference sequence of the BLAST ® platform - National Library of Medicine, USA, and the isolation was identified as Myroides phaeus strain with 99.67 % identity in Blast report. In the literature we did not find previous reported cases of infections by this bacterium, however its pathogenic role is still controversial; therefore, this isolation alerts us to carry out an exhaustive surveillance of other possible acquisition routes.

Importance: Early diagnosis of retinoblastoma, the most common intraocular cancer, can save both a child's life and vision. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that many children across the world are diagnosed late. To our knowledge, the clinical presentation of retinoblastoma has never been assessed on a global scale.
