Objetivo: La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre la valoración de la autoevaluación y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de la Facultad de Odontología de la UNMSM. Metodología: El estudio fue de tipo observacional analítica y de tipo transversal, realizando un muestreo aleatorio de 173 estudiantes de primero a quinto año de pregrado en el semestre académico 2014-2, a los cuales se les aplico la encuesta. Conclusiones: Existe una relación entre la valoración de la autoevaluación y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de la Facultad de Odontología de la UNMSM.

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the level of knowledge regarding the management of standards in care documents, as established by the Peruvian Ministry of Health, among postgraduate dentistry students at a private university. Material and Methods: A descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 153 postgraduate stomatology students from a private university. A virtual multiple-choice questionnaire with 30 questions was used, validated by experts (Content Validity Index: 0.86) and with a reliability of 0.82 (Cronbach's Alpha). Objetivo: Determinar el perfil de salud oral de los pacientes diagnosticados con miastenia gravis de la Asociación Miastenia Gravis Perú (Lima). Material y métodos: Se realizó un muestreo no aleatorio con la participación de 75 pacientes con diagnóstico de miastenia gravis, a los cuales se les evaluó la prevalencia y el promedio de caries según el índice CPOd, índice de higiene oral IHO, tipo de maloclusión dentaria y simetría facial. Resultados: Se encontró una prevalencia de caries dental del 100%, con un promedio de 17,26 piezas dentales con experiencia de caries, y el 42,7% de los pacientes presentó un nivel deficiente de higiene oral. One of the main concerns of patients is to improve their dentaI aesthetics through teeth whitening, which is why there is a big quantity of products in the market that tries to satisfy this requirement with whitening toothpastes offer. To determinate whitening clinic effect of 5 toothpastes in dental teeth, they were arranged 5 treatment groups for each toothpaste conformed for 5 students and a control group. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge about Coronavirus disease 2019 among dentists in Lima and Callao, Peru. The present study aimed to explore the characteristics of non-verbal communication during the coronavirus disease pandemic. Materials and Methods: An exploratory cross-sectional study was carried out in a population between 18 and 65 years old from Lima. The participants were selected by convenience sampling. A virtual questionnaire of 9 questions was applied on non-verbal communication variable and 3 questions about parentage data. Results: A total of 391 individuals were included. The results of the kinesic dimension indicate that the frequency of gestures and facial expressions (51.9%) and the width of the smile (42.7%) did not change during the pandemic. The objective of this research is to evaluate Peruvian scientific production in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). It is a cross-sectional descriptive study through the bibliometric analysis of articles published in journals indexed in SciELO Peru between 2010 and 2017. Authorship, type of article, main themes, and institutional productivity were analyzed. It was found that between 2010 and 2017, 19 articles on ICT were published, 26.4% of them are publications in the Peruvian Journal of Experimental Medicine and Public Health, and 30.8% of authors indicate that their main affiliation is with the National University of San Marcos. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de trastornos del gusto en pacientes niños y adolescentes diagnosticados con infección por coronavirus, a través de la evidencia en la literatura científica. Materiales y métodos: Una revisión sistemática de los artículos publicados entre el 19 de diciembre del 2019 y el 20 de diciembre del 2020 en las bases de datos Medline, Lilacs, BVS, Cochrane, SCOPUS y ScienceDirect. The systematization of a relevant experience such as the training of 21 in-service teachers with the use of an action-research component was aimed at documenting and writing what happened, as well as explaining the results achieved as a result of the intervention. The aim was to interpret the experience critically, to learn from it and improve future practice. The study used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results suggest that the component favored teachers to question their own beliefs about teaching and strengthen their abilities to make teaching problematic. They also suggest that these changes occur in training events that include spaces for reflection and discussion about beliefs and practices.
