The 1,1 biphenyl-3 - benzoylthiourea(BFBTU) and 1, 1- biethyl - 3- benzoylthiourea (DEBTU), solubilized in chloroform were evaluated as extractanT of metallic ions Cu(II) and Ag(I) aproximatelly 0,01 M, because they form stable chelats with high extraction capacity, particularly when the pH is increased. The higher extraction of Ag(I) compared with Cu(II) for both ligands is because the markedly preference of the S donor atom for Ag(I) ion.

The present research refers to Tiquila paronychoides(flor de arena). By phitochemistrey analysis has been determined the following compounds: tanins, flavonoids, alcaloids and ester [acid grass) which was isolated. The ester was characterizated by lnfrared Spectroscopy and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR

La zona estudiada es comprensión del distrito de Bolognesi, de la provincia de Pallasca del departamento de Ancash; siendo las siguientes, sus coordenadas aproximadas: 8° 17' latitud sur; y 77° 53' long. west de Greenwich. A la zona de estudio se llega utilizando las siguientes vías: Lima - Chimbote, carretera panamericana norte, tramo de 420 km. que se recorre en 5 horas con jeep.

Las tierras de Mormurullo que circundan al pueblo de Bolognesi, de 165 hectáreas y las eriazas de Wanda de 3683 hectáreas de extensión superficial pertenecen a la Municipalidad Distrital de Bolognesi de la provincia de Pallasca del departamento de Ancash. Siendo sus coordenadas aproximadas las siguientes: 80 24' latitud sur y 77° 58' longitud oeste de Greenwich.
