The objective was to evaluate the effect of sodium lasalocid supplementation in the productive characteristics and economics in Blackbelly sheep in growth. It was used 11 male of 5 months old, randomly distributed in two groups that fed with agro-industrial residues that was added sodium alkaloid (LS) in one treatment. It was used two treatments T1 (without LS) and T2 (whit 60mg LS / kg). Feed intake (kg), weight gain (kg), height gain (cm) and carcass yield (%) was evaluated in each animal. El objetivo fue evaluar y comparar las características de la lana de dos razas ovinas Corriedale y Merino Alemán con fines comerciales. El estudio fue realizado en la SAIS Pachacútec (Junín) y se utilizaron en total 140 muestras de vellón proveniente de la esquila de los meses de febrero y diciembre del 2020 de las razas Corriedale (n=70) y Merino Alemán (n=70). There are arguments in favour of reducing the incidence of medullation to improve fibres quality from the point of view of textile production and processing, and therefore it is necessary to reinforce the knowledge of this characteristic. Based on that, this study aimed to evaluate the incidence and relationship between the types of medullation, as well as to determine its relationship with the fineness in fibres of sheep, alpaca, llama, paco-vicuña and Angora rabbit. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo evaluar características de calidad, crecimiento y rinde al descerdado de las fibras finas y gruesas de llamas K´ara, así como el efecto de factores que puedan afectar sus características. Se utilizaron 69 llamas K´ara, siendo 49 del CICS-Lachocc de la Universidad Nacional de Huancavelica (UNH) y 20 de la Comunidad Campesina de San Miguel de Mestizas (CC Mestizas) del departamento de Apurímac (Perú).
