The present study was carried out at the confluence of the Baños, Minascocha and Quilla micro-basins; which belongs to the upper part of the Chancay-Huaral basin, in order to identify the areas of greatest vulnerability to high intensity rainfall phenomena (floods). For the modeling of this section, the flows obtained by means of the SWAT software were used. The flood simulation was carried out using the IBER V2.5 software, which is free software, which is used to simulate floods in shallow waters, that is, shallow waters. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between tree cover and carbone dioxide capture in urban parks in Northern Lima. For its development, a research with a quantitative approach and correlational type was designed. The methodology used consisted of field work and remote work. Through the field work, information was obtained about the coverage and tree structure of the parks and the remote work allowed to determine the volumes of CO2 captured by the parks. En el Valle del Mantaro hay presencia significativa de la radiación solar, sin embargo, no están adecuadamente organizadas los datos que otorga las estaciones de la zona, es más, poseen una incertidumbre fuera de los límites permisibles por ser monitoreado con equipos obsoletos. Debido a que surgían investigaciones inherentes a las energías renovables, particularmente energía solar, había la necesidad de analizar y caracterizar los datos de radiación solar, a fin de que éstas sean los insumos para los diseños de sistemas solares, para tal efecto, se adquirió una estación actinométrica de alta precisión, en base a una selección y dimensionamiento adecuado, luego se instaló y se puso en operatividad, con este dispositivo se obtuvo 518 000 datos durante el periodo julio 2018 a junio 2019; los mismos que han sido tratadas con la asistencia del software Excel.

The shape of the earth’s surface can be considered as resulting from an evolutionary system within time scales. Therefore, it is intended to analyze by means of digital image processing, mass removal volume using ALOS PALSAR satellite images (2006-2019) and Landsat 5 EMT and 8 OLI (1987-2018), to establish a relationship between the evolution of the landscape and the occurrence of landslides through topographic profiles. Finally, it was possible to demonstrate the difference between means of the evolution of the slide of the Tingoragra creek in the district of Huánuco (2006-2019), according to the intensity classification based on the volume by landslides (222,129,497 m³) to establish a risk analysis.

Environmental education is an effective tool to apply sustainable production techniques. The objective of this research was to apply environmental education strategies to reduce the use of agrochemicals in the Balsa en Medio community (Ecuador). Using Likert-type scales, a diagnosis was made of the level of knowledge and environmental behavior of the community members. Afterwards, the training plan was implemented applying environmental strategies on the preparation and application of compost, bioles, bioinsecticides and biopreparations with efficient microorganisms in seasonal crops. Finally, the final environmental knowledge and behavior of the participants was evaluated.
