The challenges of virtual learning in times of COVID-19 were analyzed at the Faculty of Education of Secondary Education of the “Félix Varela Morales” Pedagogical Headquarters, of the “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas Central University, located in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara Cuba between the years 2020-2021. The Materialist Dialectic was used as a general method, and the methods of the historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, and inductive-deductive theoretical level. Invasive species are animals, plants, or other organisms transported and introduced by humans in places outside their natural distribution area and that have managed to establish and disperse in the new region, where they are harmful. The objective of the research was aimed to propose a system of workshops to contribute to the knowledge of Invasive Exotic Species (IES), and their undesirable effects on vulnerable Cuban ecosystems and in particular on the bird species Molothrus bonariensis (Gmelin, 1789), 8th-graduate students of the Basic Urban Secondary School "Fe del Valle". Environmental education is an effective tool to apply sustainable production techniques. The objective of this research was to apply environmental education strategies to reduce the use of agrochemicals in the Balsa en Medio community (Ecuador). Using Likert-type scales, a diagnosis was made of the level of knowledge and environmental behavior of the community members. Afterwards, the training plan was implemented applying environmental strategies on the preparation and application of compost, bioles, bioinsecticides and biopreparations with efficient microorganisms in seasonal crops. Finally, the final environmental knowledge and behavior of the participants was evaluated. The research carried out consisted of determining the population density of Tiaris canora and Tiaris olivaceus in zone number three of the Cubanacán Protected Area, framed within the Cubanacán Heights in the province of Villa Clara, Cuba. For the capture of the birds, traps or rocker cages were used. The capture, marking and recapture of the birds under study constituted the basic method to determine the population density of the genus Tiaris. In addition, different methods were used to collect and process information, including interviews with 50 people in the city of Santa Clara, who illegally keep these species in captivity.
