description Alineado con los principios del Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible 4 (ODS 4), el propósito investigativo fue analizar la correlación entre el empleo del role play y el nivel de la expresión oral del inglés en estudiantes que inician su formación en una institución de nivel superior de Lima, 2025. Sustentado en un enfoque cuantitativo, carácter correlacional, diseño metodológico no experimental de corte transversal se aplicó en 142 participantes, con una distribución de 83 mujeres y 59 hombres. Se recurrió a dos cuestionarios a fin de reunir información pertinente, cuya validez fue previamente garantizada a través de la revisión de especialistas en el área, complementada con un análisis interno de la coherencia de sus ítems. El contraste de hipótesis reveló un coeficiente ρ = 0.829 con un nivel p < 0.001, reflejando una correlación positiva alta entre ambas variables. Por lo que se establece que a medida que se use más la técnica del role play, hay un incremento de la expresión oral del inglés.
