El patrimonio edificado urbano constituye un espectro especial y dinámico de la actividad humana. La adecuada gestión de dicho patrimonio puede devenir en incremento de la calidad de vida de las comunidades que le dan sentido. El análisis de casos representativos sobre la gestión del patrimonio edificado en Lima Metropolitana (1990-2015) aporta a desarrollar una panorámica y a sistematizar sus “lecciones aprendidas”. El desarrollo integral del referido patrimonio exige concertar entre actores sociales, optimizar la gestión de los recursos disponibles, en un marco de institucionalidad y ciudadanía débil, donde el liderazgo del gestor equilibra. La investigación tenía como fase principal proponer medidas para la restauración y conservación del antiguo edificio de la aduana en el centro histórico de Paita. Se utilizó una metodología básica con un enfoque teórico, empleando un método cualitativo y un diseño de caso de estudio descriptivo univariado. Se evaluó el estado del inmueble mediante una ficha de observación, entrevistas a expertos, pobladores y una guía de campo. Los resultados indicaron un deterioro significativo en la antigua aduana de Paita, considerando que el valor histórico o la importancia, atribuida a la ex aduana de Paita es un componente valioso del patrimonio histórico y cultural, destacando tanto por su impacto visual y arquitectónico. La investigación tiene como objetivo principal evaluar la relación entre el patrimonio edificado y la identidad cultural del Centro Arqueológico de Vilcashuamán, Ayacucho 2023. Para ello la metodología empleada ha sido mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, tipo aplicada y nivel descriptivo correlacional. Mediante una muestra de 130 y con el uso del instrumento cuestionario y la técnica de la encuesta, validados por expertos; se han realizado el trabajo de campo recolectando información pertinente. Sumado a ello se ha utilizado el software SSPS V26, para el procesamiento los datos. This article tries to analyze the apparent insufficiency of theoretical criteria or approaches used in the restor- ative processes of Cusco’s vice regal architecture carried out in the last fifteen years. In charge of such an activity, the Peruvian State, through today’s Culture Ministry of Cusco, played a preponderant role. The present paper takes as case-study the restoration and revaluation of the Concha House. The article reflects on the consideration of the built heritage of the Chinese immigration in histori- cal center of Lima. For this, the relationship between heritage subjects and built heritage has been studied taking as reference the new positions on heritage. The investigation presents fourteen cases, grouped as: (i)a monumental zone, (ii) a monumental urban space, (iii) ten heritage buildings, and (iv) two landmarks and crosses them with two outlooks: internal and external to verify the existence of the built heritage of Chinese immigration in the Historical Center of Lima.

The article analyzes a document of the final report produced by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on an intervention carried out in the complex of the Church of San Francisco between 1978 and 1990. Nonetheless, since said document has more financial than technical information, it was necessary to draw on sources, because the purpose of the article is to demonstrate the importance of prior documentation in the interventions of built heritage.
