El objetivo consistió en determinar si liderazgo y la motivación se relacionan con la efectividad funcional en la EmpresaoPrestadora deoServicios “Chavín” S. A. en el 2019. Método se utilizó una investigación aplicada, diseño nooexperimental, deonivel correlacionali- causal; la población de 170 trabajadores, y la muestra probabilística fue igual a 118; con criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Laotécnica fue laoencuesta y el instrumento, el cuestionariooestructurado, debidamente validados por el juicio de expertos, la confiabilidad se obtuvo por el estadístico Alpha de Crombach. OBJECTIVE: The absence of an universal classification for hyperthyroidisms (HT), give rise to inadequate interpretation of series and trials, and prevents decision making. We offer a tentative classification based on gammagrafic and functional findings. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Clinical records from patients who underwent thyroidectomy in our Department since 1967 to 1997 were reviewed. Those with functional measurements of hyperthyroidism were considered. All were managed according to the same preestablished guidelines. RESULTS: HT was the surgical indication in 694 (27,1%) of the 2559 thyroidectomies. Purpose – This paper aims to test the hypothesis that the effect of production slowdown on labour demand can be muted by labour hoarding. Design/methodology/approach – This study adopts a production function approach, using data from Malta, a small state in the EU. Findings – The results confirm the hypothesis and indicate that firms are normally prepared to employ and dismiss more workers in the long run than in the short run. Practical implications – This finding has important implications for developed countries, including that labour hoarding can be of certain relevance in times of economic slowdown as shocks are absorbed by internal flexibility. Esta investigación se enfoca en cómo el Quality Function Deployment QFD permite transmitir los requerimientos de los clientes, a los procesos y al diseño de los productos o servicios con el fin de que estos requerimientos sean expresados en lo que realmente valora el cliente y mejorar su competitividad en el mercado. Objetive: To describe the characteristics of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in hospitalized patients in a tertiary-level hospital from January to April of 2016. Material and methods: Retrospective descriptive study that included patients admitted to medical ward and Intensive Care Unit. AKI diagnosis and severity stage were established according to Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes criteria. Kidney function at discharge was evaluated by estimating the glomerular filtration rate (GFR). Results: Overall frequency of AKI was 64.83%. In the medical ward, frequency was 57.06% and in ICU, 88.14%. Overall mortality was 27.45%. The proportion of patients with AKI who had anemia, diabetes and chronic kidney disease was 84.97%, 20.92% and 19.61%, respectively. In this article, the author analyzes the distribution of functions between SuSalud and Indecopi, regarding the mandates of Legislative Decree 1158. In particular, the author addresses the functions of administrative regulation related to infractions in the provision of health services by the private sector in our national scope.This is done taking into account considerations that are inherent to a fundamental right as the right to health, which implies an active duty for the State as a whole. This is the reason why intense criticisms are raised about the way in which the distribution of functions has been regulated among public administration bodies, through confusing rules that signifi cantly increase the costs faced by consumers to present their complaints.

La corrupción “rompe” la fibra de lo que conocemos como institucionalidad política y económica, siendo una de las consecuencias más críticas la deslegitimización de las organizaciones (estatales, partidos políticos, gremios empresariales, entre otras) y que sean percibidas por los ciudadanos como involucradas orgánicamente en estos actos. Un Estado ineficiente y una burocracia infértil (y corrupta) son dos caras de una misma moneda, que, al no poder establecer las condiciones indispensables para la generación de riqueza, progreso y bienestar de manera sostenible, finalmente coadyuvan a la pérdida de credibilidad en el régimen democrático constitucional y liberal. Revisemos el Latinobarómetro y saquemos nuestras conclusiones. Esta pandemia nos deja una dura lección: “Ética pública, Estado eficiente o morir”.

The purpose of this paper is to study the possible morphological and functional abnormalities of the small intestine in patients undergoing antrectomy and vagotomy for duodenal ulcer. The relevant literature is scarce and this has led us to undertake a comprehensive study in patients admitted to the Gastroenterology Service of the Hospital Obrero de Lima . Objective: To determine the relationship between competency-based management and job performance of the administrative staff at EPS Seda Huánuco S. A., as of 2023. Materials and Methods: This research is of an applied type, with a correlational level, using a non-experimental correlational design. The population and sample comprised the 57 employees of Seda Huánuco, to whom a survey technique was applied, using a questionnaire as the instrument. This article aims to analyze the attributions and the legal and administrative nature which has be granted to the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) after the normative change that will play a key role in the correct implementation thereof. Objective: To determine the association between frailty syndrome and family functioning among older adults with diabetic retinopathy. Materials and methods: An analytical and cross-sectional study conducted among patients diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy. The ophthalmology department diagnosed diabetic retinopathy through pupil dilation, using tetracaine and an ophthalmoscope.
