Many automotive systems such as engines have manufacturing tolerances or change over time. This limits the performance of controllers tuned for the nominal case. A robust controller can not always overcome this performance gap. Against this background, in this work, we propose a self-tuning control strategy for an engine air path model obtained from data of a real engine and show its benefits setting. The self-tuning control consists of an online parameter estimation algorithm for polynomial non-linear autoregressive with exogenous input (PNARX) models and a nonlinear model predictive controller (NMPC) implemented by the continuation/generalized minimum residual (C/GMRES) algorithm. This paper aims to provide an overall review and assessment of the virtues and flaws of decentralized self-regulated markets, discussing in particular the extent to which deceiving attitudes by some market participants might be potentially diluted and contradicted. Design/methodology/approach. To approach deception and morality in markets, the paper follows two paths. First, the relevant recent literature on the theme is reviewed, examined and debated, and second, one constructs a simulation model equipped with the required elements to discuss the immediate and longterm impacts of deceiving behaviour over market outcomes. Dadurch hervorgerufene Verformungen der Reflektoroberfläche verändern deren geometrischen Eigenschaften und können die ursprüngliche Position und Form des Brennpunkts verändern. Eine Abweichung dieses Brennpunkt von der Lage der Primärantenne beeinflusst die Leistungsfähigkeit des Teleskops. Maintaining the stability of bipedal walking remains a major challenge in humanoid robotics, primarily due to the large number of hyperparameters involved and the need to adapt to dynamic environments and external disturbances. Traditional methods for determining these hyperparameters, such as heuristic approaches, are often time- consuming and potentially suboptimal. In this thesis, we present an integrated approach combining advanced control and reinforcement learning techniques to improve the stability of bipedal walking, particularly in the face of ground disturbances and speed variations. Research on the bibliographic review studies on collaborative learning at the university level published in the last five years, allows to verify an absence of systematic comparative analysis of explicit and exhaustive analytical criteria that enables ordering of the different contributions. Precisely, the objective of this work was to establish a referential analytical model that allows a clear systematization of the corpus of articles recovered in the period 2018-2022. In the ecological literature, the interference (self-interference) or competition among predators to effect the harvesting of their prey has been modeled by different mathematical formulations.In this work, we will establish the dynamical properties of the Leslie-Gower type predation model, in which is incorporated one of these form, described by the function b (y) = yalfa , with 0 < alfa < 1.The main difficulty of the analysis is due to this function is not differentiable for y = 0, and the Jacobian matrix is not defined in the equilibrium points over the horizontal axis (x-axis).Previously, we showed a summary with the fundamental properties of the Leslie-Gower type model, in order to carry out an adequate comparative analysis with models where self-interference between predators is incorporated.To reinforce our results, some numerical simulations are shown.

The microstructures formed by magnetic colloids in the absence or presence of external magnetic fields plays a key role in the design of multifunctional nanomaterials. In this work we have carried out Brownian dynamics simulations of a dilute suspension composed by self-propelled superparamagnetic colloids, in order to study the interplay between the self-propulsion and the magnetic interaction forces in their aggregation process, when the suspension is subjected to a strong external magnetic field.
