The construction sector is searching for new technologies, such as drones, that prove helpful for the surveillance and supervision of construction sites, especially in pandemic situations. This research proposes designing flight planning models to optimize flight time and speed. The main objective is to develop a model that allows multiple drones to carry out supervision tasks in construction areas. In this regard, it presents a dynamic programming model and a metaheuristic based on genetic algorithms, both applied for optimizing flight plans with multiple drones. According to the Ministry of Education, there are several institutions that provide and develop forms of education and training that allow access to technical training for the dispersed population or with difficulty to attend centers that offer specializations at high costs, this is the case of the technical institutions run by the State. As an initial strategy, the realization of a systematization of experiences in technical education in construction in South America, specifically in the courses of improvement and specialization of technicians focused on the construction market, that serve as a framework for future proposals of efficient technical education and effective, assess and recognize the importance of training proposals in technical education and complementary job training.

The research problem centers on the urgent need to improve workplace safety conditions. The objective was to determine the relationship between behavior-based safety (BBS) and accident rates in the construction sites of a building company located in Lima. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental, correlational design was employed for this purpose. The sample consisted of five construction sites between 2021 and 2022. The main finding revealed a strong negative correlation between BBS and accident rates, evidenced by a correlation coefficient of −0.918. This suggests that greater BBS implementation is associated with a lower accident rate. A p-value of 0.028 confirmed the statistical significance of this relationship. In conclusion, the findings highlight the effectiveness of BBS programs in reducing occupational accidents in the construction sector.

Learning-centered models, which rely on active methodologies such as Project-Based Learning (PBL), should be adopted in undergraduate programs to potentiate the development of collaboration skills within future industry professionals like civil engineers. The results of a qualitative research were exposed, whose objective was to analyze and understand the manifestation of workplace harassment in women of Chilean psychosocial programs that provided care work to victims of violence. Sampling was done intentionally and for convenience. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 women from psychosocial programs of SENAME and SERNAMEG. The content-thematic analysis was carried out for the constructed data. The results showed that the exposure to workplace harassment was stigmatizing, mainly perpetrated by harassment to work, faced preferably with individual defensive strategies. The working conditions were syndicated as the main causes of workplace harassment. It is concluded that it involved damage to mental health and the rights of the workers.

The aim of the article to demonstrate the necessity of a critical view on the construct of «competence» because of semantic and epistemic gaps. The analysis of the historical evolution of «competence» clarifies its origin and meanings. The epistemological analysis identifies the principle of efficiency as the basis of competence and also of programming and organization of educational process, based on this approach. The result of this double analysis highlights the intrinsic limits of the educational approach by competencies putting it in question.
