The educational programs in health care allow to raise the knowledge and modify the behaviors and affects that threaten the health through the opportune action, in the primary, secondary levels and intervention in rehabilitation or tertiary prevention. The objective of the research article was to determine the effectiveness of a reeducation program for women with a history of reporting for partner violence, self-esteem and gender construction. OBJETIVO: El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la efectividad de un programa de reeducación para mujeres con antecedentes de denuncia por violencia de pareja, en la autoestima y la construcción de género. MÉTODOLOGÍA: El diseño utilizado corresponde al tipo cuasi-experimental de medidas repetidas (pre y post) sin grupo control, contó con la participación de 35 mujeres con denuncia de violencia por parte de su pareja ante el Juzgado de Familia - Poder Judicial de Huánuco, año 2016 que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión.
