In this work we critically approach the figure of the illicit association from a double perspective: historical and constitutional, questioning its theoretical foundations and its jurisprudential use. We connect your employment with arbitrary criminal proceedings where procedural guarantees are usually violated. We recover its political history in times of witch hunts, when the term „subversive association“ is born, in times of persecution of the coven, taken by many contemporary historians (especially feminist as Silvia Federici) as forms of resistance to new forms of organization of rural property (since behind the witch hunt was the expansion of rural capitalism) or resistance to the privatization of land in Europe. We conclude, making a parallel with the witch hunt (political criminalization program), that the alternative to the constant and growing criminalization of marginaliz...

Background: Mechanical reasoning (MR) is the ability to identify the components of a system and understand how they interact in order for the system to work. Different mechanical systems, such as those of wheels and gears, require different types of reasoning. Objective: This study seeks to analyze the relationship that working memory (WM) and processing speed (PS) have with MR. Method: One hundred seventy-three (173) university students were assessed through the DAT test which consisted of 30 MR problems, the symbol search subtest of the WAIS-III battery for assessing the PS, and the BIMET-V and BIMET-VE batteries to evaluate the WM verbal and visuospatial components. Results: Regression analyses showed that the proposed variables do not predict the performance in gear problems, while the visuospatial WM and the PS predict the performance in wheel problems. Discussion: The results sugge...

“The most devastating disease to humanity is commonly known as elephantiasis. Infection usually acquired in childhood but visible indication like pain, disfiguring occur later in life. Severely affected people will have a permanent disability. Not only had it generated physical challenges it also cost for social, psychological, and economical losses. The impact of the disease is so painful and devastating among young men and women as they live with the lifelong disfiguring condition. As the parasite attacks directly to the lymphatic system of the body whose primary function is to drain all the harmful components and impurities from tissues and cells also make a strong immune system of the body to fight against infection and diseases. Since the parasite attack damages the lymphatic vessels and capillaries. Hence the effect is on the flow of lymph resulting in lymphoedema. 90% of the cas...

This paper addresses the complex relationship between democracy, justice, and due process in the context of the fight against terrorism and subversion that kept Peru in a climate of anxiety during the 1980s and 1990s. It highlights the need to critically analyze whether the laws and judicial practices employed during that period were truly fair and respectful of the rule of law. The author therefore stresses the importance of defending democracy from those who seek to undermine it. However, it is crucial that such protection be carried out with respect for legal principles, the life and integrity of individuals. Consequently, judicial methods must be used that seek the truth and do not violate human rights. In short, it is proposed that the defense of democracy must be carried out within a legal framework that respects democratic principles and human rights, particularly in conflict situ...

Currently, in the Peruvian industrial sector, most companies are affected by the low efficiency provided by the staff when carrying out their respective work. This arises because most companies are looking for the cheapest labor they can get and not all these people have the economic capacity to receive a good level of education. In manufacturing companies, it is almost always possible to observe "the law of minimum effort in the operators" which causes operations without added value to arise in the processes, unnecessary delays and all this translates into processes with low efficiency. What we want to demonstrate in the following investigation is how, with adequate training for the personnel, all these mentioned defects can be reduced and with a not very high investment for the company. There are many tools that we can use that the Lean Six Sigma methodology gives us depending on the o...

This study addresses process optimization in a microenterprise specializing in dressmaking in Peru, which faces high levels of material waste and inefficient production methods. The company had an average monthly material waste rate of 18%, exceeding the values observed in other companies in the sector, impacting costs and sustainability. The PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology was used to identify the root causes of inefficiencies, such as the lack of standardized work methods, improper use of tools, and suboptimal cutting templates. The implemented improvements included transitioning from paper templates to rigid templates, standardizing tracing and cutting processes, and eliminating unnecessary steps in the production process. These interventions reduced production time per dress from 236 to 189 minutes (19.8%), increased annual production capacity by 24.6%, and decreased material wa...

After the difficult period during the year 2020, the metal-mechanic sector has been characterized by its high participation in the Peruvian GDP. However, by not having established working methods, productivity in the production process is affected and in comparison, at national level, companies in other sectors have an efficiency greater than 80% in their processes, which generates an increase in competition. This article intends to incorporate to the literature through the combination of Lean Manufacturing tools: The SMED tool will be used for the reduction of Set Up times; Poka Yoke, to avoid human errors through a mold that will prevent defects in the bending machine and through the standardization of work, to establish best practices in the various manufacturing processes of metal racks. The main result of this proposal is the reduction of man-hours lost in non-value generating activ...

Nowadays, the waste of resources has become one of the biggest problems for industries, due to the serious environmental, social and economic consequences it generates. Therefore, to ensure a production based on sustainable processes, it's essential to have a responsible management of resources, being the first step one of the most important ones, the identification. Thus, the present research work aims to develop and implement a method based on the integration of Green and Lean methodologies to systematically identify ecological waste, taking as a case study a nectar factory in Lima - Peru. Through the implementation of tools such as Environmental Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, it was found that the company generated a waste of 1584 litres of water and 38.5 kg of conditioned fruit every month. The identification of green waste is vital, as it...

Cervical cancer is one of the main causes of death by disease worldwide. In Peru, it holds the first place in frequency and represents 8% of deaths caused by sickness. To detect the disease in the early stages, one of the most used screening tests is the cervix Papanicolaou test. Currently, digital images are increasingly being used to improve Pap test efficiency. This work develops an algorithm based on adaptive thresholds, which will be used in Pap smear assisted quality control software. The first stage of the method is a pre-processing step, in which noise and background removal is done. Next, a block is segmented for each one of the points selected as not background, and a local threshold per block is calculated to search for cell nuclei. If a nucleus is detected, an artifact rejection follows, where only cell nuclei and inflammatory cells are left for the doctors to interpret. The ...
