The research in the search for proposals that transform the teachinglearning process of Physics in pre-university education, had the objective of proposing a methodology that incorporates the project method in the teachinglearning process, to contribute to the development of motivation for the study of the subject Physics in the students and that they become the protagonists of their learning. For the development of the research, methods of collection and processing of the information gathered were used, within the latter, observation and survey stand out. The selected sample consisted of 196 students in the 10th grade of the “Capitan Roberto Rodríguez Fernández” Urban Pre-University Institute, located in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba. The results obtained with the application of the methods showed that it is necessary to produce a transformation in the teaching-learni...

In this article, we present the results of an investigation and its purpose is to determine the influence of didactic suitability in the teaching and learning processes of mathematics in students of the advanced cycle of the Alternative Basic Education Center 1135 Santa Clara, Vitarte. The approach was mixed (quantitative-mixed: WHAT-which). The type was mixed simultaneously. The design was mixed integration, the specific design was concurrent triangulation (DITRIAC) (for the QUAN method: quasi-experimental and for the QUAL method: ethnographic case studies). The population constituted 350 students and the sample 80, distributed in 4 classrooms (control group: section A and experimental groups: sections B, C and D), the survey was used as a technique and as a pre and post test instrument. In the CUAN method. The descriptive results in the post test indicate that there is an average diffe...

The objective of the research work was to propose a teaching method that allowed the self-management of knowledge related to the zoology of invertebrates by the students of the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Education career, comparing in-person learning vs. those not in attendance. For the development of the research, information gathering and processing methods were used, which allowed us to verify the shortcomings in terms of the use and elaboration of this type of teaching medium, for the teaching-learning process from the non-face-to-face modality. The illustrations were made to correspond with the pedagogical and hygienic requirements, which contributed to the aesthetic education of the students and raised the interest in the didactic material. Suggestions and arguments made by different experts were taken into consideration, which were largely the basis for the realization of the wor...

The virtual classroom is an innovative educational resource that allows teachers and students to access and use of various media (chat, web pages, discussion forums, blogs, wikis, etc); in order to perform activities that are conducive to learning. The use of this resource will help optimize the teaching-learning process in person, because it creates a development environment and collaborative work between all actors of learning. This will maintain effective communication between students and teachers. This research was conducted during the academic semester 2016-II, applied to students of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Private University of Tacna, regarding the use of virtual classrooms. They were part of the sample 300 students of different cycles. Objective: The objective is to identify the perception of college students from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism a...

The aim of the study was to describe theoretical-practical tools of the professional teaching and learning process as a category of university teaching. The study was carried out from January to June 2021, where teaching was considered as the first university mission, the category that refers to the professional process of teaching and learning. In this category, six theoreticalpractical tools are mentioned: 1st) establishes the didactic strategies, 2nd) selects the content, 3rd) identifies the learning resources, 4th) schedules the activities, 5th), considers the type of evaluation, and 6th) the learning outcome is diagnostic and then conceptualized for description. It is indicated that every process aims to optimize methods and techniques in the teaching and learning relationship to move between skill levels. In the process of updating and relevancy of knowledge, a definition of the pr...

Permanent technological training favors teaching and its importance in learning modalities. Therefore, it is proposed to analyze the academic performance of permanent training in ICT skills for teachers and compare the performance of digital learning modalities. The research was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional in a higher education institution with continuous training processes. Two editions of courses were considered in which online TIC tools were taught for teachers. The activity records made it possible to analyze the academic performance of permanent training in TIC skills for teachers and compare the learning modalities' performance through them. In this sense, the results of the teaching-learning process in TIC skills reflect that the evaluations of the first b-learning modality course with 44 participants present a 98% approval rate compared to the second e-learning mod...

The teaching-learning process in higher education should guide, orient and train students towards the acquisition of computer skills, in a society increasingly permeated by Information and Communication Technologies. The objective of the research is to propose a system of Virtual Practical Classes, for the study of the external and internal morphology of vertebrates that are studied as part of the Chordates Zoology program, in the Bachelor's Degree in Education. Biology, in the third year of the Regular Day Course, at the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas, Villa Clara, Cuba. The system is based on the Historical-Cultural Theory of L. S. Vigotsky and his followers. The information for the diagnosis is obtained from the application of different methods of information gathering and processing, such as surveys, interviews, observation and document review. In order to mitigate th...

The current trend in the teaching of veterinary pathology is to promote the participation of students in their learning process and more autonomous work in practical activities. The traditional practice of neoplasm analysis involves macroscopic analysis of formalin-fixed biopsies and histopathological analysis. The objective of this study was to evaluate two tissue inclusion techniques with EPO-100 epoxy resin, material of low cost and easily accessible. The biopsies were obtained from tumours of dogs and cats in veterinary clinics in Temuco, Chile. Samples were processed with or without dehydration in ethanol and acetone before inclusion. The non-dehydrated samples retained all the details of the original sample, without altering the size, shape or colour, being more valued by students in practical activities than the dehydrated samples. The latter become transparent and lose the contra...

The global pandemic situation has made it clear that the consumption of fake news, the predilection for articles to disseminate science rather than scientific research articles, and the legitimation of social networks as sources of information affect social development and maintain those involved vulnerable, as well as susceptible to misinformation. Thus, the need to train citizens with a research profile, interested in science and familiar with its discourses is imminent. In this paper, through documented research that includes social studies, pedagogical approaches and discursive analysis, it’s intended to reflect on the relationship between the current situation of scientific discourse and education, as consequently, its impact on the development of the society. At the end, a working method is proposed for teacher training entities focused on interaction with scientific research tex...

This research proposes and validates a new Didactic Conception with an ecosystem approach for the teaching - learning process of the zoology of the chordates in the third year of the Regular Day Course, of the Bachelor Degree in Biology Education of the Faculty of Media Education "Félix Varela Morales" of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas, Villa Clara, Cuba. The information for the diagnosis is obtained from the application of different empirical methods such as surveys, interviews, observation and review of documents. The Didactic conception is based on the Historical - Cultural Theory of LS Vygotsky and his followers, in which an ecosystem approach and confrontation to climate change is demonstrated, which, from its implementation in the aforementioned race, allows students to become even more aware of the imperative need to conserve biological diversity, as well...
