It is usual to think that between the historical processes of Peru and Mexico there are more similarities than differences. And, indeed, there are reasons to suppose that this is true: both were the cradle of the most developed cultures in the American continent until before the arrival of the Spaniards; later, the two became the most powerful viceroyalties of the Crown; they also followed a similar pattern in their dependent relationship with the international economy; In both territories there is a rich and diverse cultural heritage that, according to some discourses, will merge into a thriving miscegenation. Introducción: Las enfermedades cardiovasculares son la primera causa de muerte en el mundo, dichas enfermedades se pueden prevenir mediante el control de los factores de riesgo, donde destacan la obesidad, hipertensión, tabaquismo, sedentarismo y antecedentes familiares. Objetivo: Identificar el factor de riesgo cardiovascular más frecuente en los estudiantes universitarios. Material y métodos: Estudio comparativo, observacional, prospectivo y transversal; se realizó en 8 facultades de la Universidad Veracruzana Región Veracruz, divididas en dos grupos, el primero del área de Ciencias de la Salud y el Segundo de áreas mixtas; de cada facultad se estudiaron 43 alumnos, dando una muestra total de 344; se registraron los siguientes datos: antecedentes familiares, tabaquismo, actividad física y se obtuvieron valores como peso, talla, presión arterial y glucemia capilar. At present, there is a discussion in Mexico about working with diversity focusing on inclusive education. However, there is a question upon how is it being implemented. From the perspective of a support teacher, this paper approaches to some of the legal and normative basis of inclusive education. Moreover, there is also a reflection on some theoretical propositions and its practical application on schools.

In this issue of Allpanchis we collect some of the papers presented at the IX Congress of ALER (Latin American Association for the Study of Religions), which took place at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in 2002. The theme of the congress was "Religion and Ethnicity", with an emphasis on the Andean region, and was attended by researchers from Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, the United States, Uruguay, among other Latin American and European countries.

The purpose of this study was to obtain validity evidence based on the internal structure and based on a criterion and reliability estimated of the scores derived from the Green Purchasing Behavioral Cost Scale in a sample of 221 participants between 17 and 62 years old (M = 25,57; SD = 10,8) in México. Data analysis revealed an unidimensional structure that characterizes green purchasing behavioral cost and acceptable internal consistency (alfa = .75; omega = .75); confirmatory factor analysis showed optimal fit of the data to the model. Additionally the behavioral cost scores distinguish between individuals with low pro-environmental actions from those who perform actions in favor of the environment. El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Accesibilidad audiovisual en Perú y México”, tuvo como objetivo principal analizar la situación actual de la accesibilidad audiovisual en Perú comparándola con México, teniendo en cuenta tres aspectos: Aspecto legal, educativo y social. El tipo de estudio de esta investigación fue aplicada, con un diseño de estudio de casos. De igual manera, esta investigación tuvo como escenario de estudio la documentación bibliográfica, indexada, legal y periodística sobre la accesibilidad audiovisual en Perú y México. La presente investigación consiste en comparar las consideraciones cualitativas y cuantitativas de nuestra norma vigente de diseño por sismo (E.030) con otras normas internacionales; con el objetivo de mejorar aspectos puntuales; o en su defecto, confirmar la validez y relevancia de la misma. This text reviews some of the characteristics and the means that have shaped gender identity, as part of the traditional and popular Mexican national identity. It is a matter of reflecting briefly and generally on the subject, with special emphasis, first of all, on the idea that it is a sociocultural construction, and therefore with possibilities for change. And secondly, on how the invented and mythologized image of the national soul is intimately intertwined and linked with the stereotypes and social roles assigned to each sex. This last matter being very peculiar to the Mexican context presented here.
