It is usual to think that between the historical processes of Peru and Mexico there are more similarities than differences. And, indeed, there are reasons to suppose that this is true: both were the cradle of the most developed cultures in the American continent until before the arrival of the Spaniards; later, the two became the most powerful viceroyalties of the Crown; they also followed a similar pattern in their dependent relationship with the international economy; In both territories there is a rich and diverse cultural heritage that, according to some discourses, will merge into a thriving miscegenation. Introducción: Las enfermedades cardiovasculares son la primera causa de muerte en el mundo, dichas enfermedades se pueden prevenir mediante el control de los factores de riesgo, donde destacan la obesidad, hipertensión, tabaquismo, sedentarismo y antecedentes familiares. Objetivo: Identificar el factor de riesgo cardiovascular más frecuente en los estudiantes universitarios. Material y métodos: Estudio comparativo, observacional, prospectivo y transversal; se realizó en 8 facultades de la Universidad Veracruzana Región Veracruz, divididas en dos grupos, el primero del área de Ciencias de la Salud y el Segundo de áreas mixtas; de cada facultad se estudiaron 43 alumnos, dando una muestra total de 344; se registraron los siguientes datos: antecedentes familiares, tabaquismo, actividad física y se obtuvieron valores como peso, talla, presión arterial y glucemia capilar. La presente investigación consiste en comparar las consideraciones cualitativas y cuantitativas de nuestra norma vigente de diseño por sismo (E.030) con otras normas internacionales; con el objetivo de mejorar aspectos puntuales; o en su defecto, confirmar la validez y relevancia de la misma. This article addresses the teaching of Roman Law at the University of Mexico, highlighting its relevance throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. During the colonial period, this discipline was the mainstay of legal education at the university, following the model of European universities. Later, after independence, Patriotic Law started to gain prominence, although Roman Law continued to be essential. However, in 1907 it was eliminated from the compulsory curriculum, being limited to specialties. Then, in 1913, it was reintroduced as a required subject due to its importance for the formation of solid legal criteria. In the twentieth century, multiple modifications were made, being relevant the reform of 1922, which replaced the Roman Law courses by four courses of History of Law, although the first continued to be the basis of the historical legal study. It is a matter of reflecting briefly and generally on the subject, with special emphasis, first of all, on the idea that it is a sociocultural construction, and therefore with possibilities for change. And secondly, on how the invented and mythologized image of the national soul is intimately intertwined and linked with the stereotypes and social roles assigned to each sex. This last matter being very peculiar to the Mexican context presented here.

El presente artículo tiene como propósito exponer desde una óptica hermenéutica sobre el principio del interés superior de la niñez, el cual tiene como objeto que, en todas las decisiones de diversos ámbitos, ya sea por instituciones públicas o privadas de bienestar social, así como autoridades administrativas, órganos legislativos garanticen la toma de decisiones que favorezcan la protección de niñas y niños. Con especial atención en los padres, tutores o cuidadores que contribuyen en el desarrollo integral de la niñez. At present, there is a discussion in Mexico about working with diversity focusing on inclusive education. However, there is a question upon how is it being implemented. From the perspective of a support teacher, this paper approaches to some of the legal and normative basis of inclusive education. This paper begins by describing the situation and problems that afflicted the Mexican prison system during the 1960s. According to the author, the critical state of Mexican prisons led to the establishment of a new system for the treatment of inmates. Thus, a penitentiary system was implemented that focused mainly on the resocialization of the inmate, as well as the promotion of his or her social reintegration. To this end, it sought to reverse the situation by reforming the prison regime, restructuring the penitentiary center, offering medical care, especially psychiatric and psychological care, establishing different work areas, and emphasizing the education of inmates.
