The construction industry is essential for the economic development of a country. However, changing management in these projects can be complex due to communication between different stakeholders. Construction changes are common and can occur at any stage of the project, which can have negative impacts on costs and schedules. It is important to have clear communication of the vision and benefits of changes before implementing them. The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in construction can improve communication, collaboration, knowledge management, and acquisition processes. In this context, a change management model is proposed in the design phase of infrastructure works based on the BIM (Building Information Modeling) and ICE (Interactive Concurrent Engineering) methodologies. The model is divided into six phases: search and compilation of information, analysis of ...

Environmental pollution caused by human activities is a global concern, and recycling is an effective strategy to reduce waste and minimize its negative impact on the environment, as these pollutants can have detrimental impact on ecosystems, human health, and the quality of life in general. Recycling avoids the accumulation of waste in landfills, which can contami-nate soil, water, and air as well as reducing the production of new products. The objective of this work is to implement a mobile application to improve waste management by recycling companies. The Mobile-D methodology was used for the development of the project because it focuses on optimizing the efficiency and performance of mobile applications since it allows working in 5 phases which are: Exploration, Initialization, Production, Stabilization and Testing. In the first indicator (KPI-1), an improvement in customer retentio...

The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing radio production, offering significant advantages over traditional methods. AI, much like digitalization did, challenges existing production structures and routines, forcing the industry to adapt to technological and market changes. This work identifies three types of AI: analytic, which detect patterns and foresee future situations; assistive, which execute mechanical tasks in an automated manner; and generative, which simulate creative processes and produce content. To contextualize the different functions, six phases have been established in the radio production cycle (Ideation, Research, Production, Distribution, Interaction, and Archiving), and in each phase, specific AI functions that contribute to the process have been identified. An inductive methodology based on the observation and analysis of 96 specific AI appl...

Magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) are especially interesting for several biomedical applications due to their chemical surface, especially for targeted cancer imaging and therapeutics. In order to realize these applications, it is important to know their magnetic properties among other complementary properties that help to improve the understanding of the synthesis process. In this work, we report the magnetic properties of polyethyleneimine-coated magnetite (PEI-Fe3O4) NPs synthesized by a one-step method via the co-precipitation method and using PEI as a stabilizer. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images revealed agglomerated magnetic nanoparticles with an average size of similar to 10 nm; meanwhile, the X-ray diffraction (DRX) analysis confirmed a pure magnetite phase. The study of magnetic properties shows a superparamagnetic system with coexistence of non-interacting single NPs wi...

This article covers the importance of understanding the conscience of oneself and the conscience of the other as a fundamental element within the dynamics of interaction of the teaching-learning process, specifically focusing on the case of adult students who work. Starting from this framework, the article proposes a five phase model: to recognize, to identify, to validate, to respond and to part. These phases will be present in every teacher-student relationship in the context of the course that they build together, suggesting that the success or the failure during its transition could directly impact the results of the learning process.
