Emotional Regulation (ER) strategies are created depending on the attachment style, as the probability to experiment positive emotions increases. Need for Social Approval (NSA) works as a motivator that guides behavior and facilitates social adaptation, being associated positively with Mental Health (MH). Relationships between attachment styles, ER, SD and MH were evaluated. In total, 469 participants answered the Revised Adult Attachment Scale, the ER Questionnaire, the NSA Scale and the MH Inventory MHI-38. Significant differences were found in all variables regarding attachment styles. Securely attached individuals had the highest psychological wellbeing and used cognitive re-evaluation as an ER strategy. NSA is conceived as a favorable social adjustment strategy that impacts individual’s MH, influenced by attachment styles in interaction with ER.

En el Perú existen pocos estudios académicos referidos al proceso político del parlamento en la formulación de políticas públicas. Por eso nos propusimos abordar el proceso político respecto del diseño de la política de la descentralización en el Perú. Aunque la otra motivación es mi experiencia como asesor parlamentario en el período que nos ocupa. Una interrogante es ¿por qué se arribó a un diseño de la política de descentralización como el que sigue vigente y por qué sigue inalterable en el tiempo? De allí surgieron las hipótesis sobre la calidad del consenso alcanzado, las capacidades de los legisladores y las debilidades o fortalezas de su diseño. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal establecer la relación entre las Estrategias de aprendizaje, la Motivación para el estudio y la Comprensión lectora en una muestra de estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la UNMSM. Se utilizó un diseño descriptivo correlacional, con una muestra de 290 estudiantes de todos los ciclos académicos, a quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos de evaluación: el MSLQ (Motivated Strategies For Learning Questionnaire) de Paul Pintrich y la Prueba CLP Formas Paralelas de Felipe Alliende, Mabel Condemarín y Neva Milicic. Academic self-efficacy is a powerful predictor of academic success, yet there are several factors that predispose it. Because of this, an explanatory model is proposed using the self-regulation of academic activities, positive affection, and personality. Hierarchical multiple linear regression was used to support the predictive proposal of the model. The Specific Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale of Academic Situations, The Scale of Positive and Negative Experience, Subscale Self-Regulation of Activities of the Academic Procrastination Scale, and Mini International Personality Item Pool (MINI-IPIP) were used. High correlations were obtained in the self-regulation of activities, positive affection, and personality (extraversion, concientousness and openness to experience) to academic self-efficacy. The Socialist Culture Club (CCS) (1984-2008) and the magazine La Ciudad Futura (LCF) were two significant areas of discussion of the so-called democratic left in post-dictatorial Argentina. Renowned intellectuals participated in both spaces, who even coincided in both instances, promoting debate on the political, cultural and economic situation for more than twenty years. This article investigates the economic discussions developed in the Club and in LCF in the context of socioeconomic decomposition of the government of Fernando de la Rúa (1999-2001). The main archival material used were the recorded meetings of the CCS and the LCF articles, focusing on the political-economic debate that took place in parallel in both instances. Chiasmocleis magnova was described with only two female individuals from the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve and surroundings in the Loreto region, Peru. The presence of large eggs in the holotype led the descriptors to assume that this species reproduces with direct development. After the description, records emerged to the north and south of the Amazon River; however, these records lacked photographs and most also lacked population information. This motivated us to learn more about their reproduction, distribution, and abundance by habitats. To this end, we captured and placed a pair of C. magnova in an aquaterrarium to assess their eggs and tadpoles. El presente trabajo de investigación se inicia por la necesidad de conocer el nivel de discriminación auditiva de un grupo de niños de cinco años del Colegio Newton de La Molina, quienes mostraron algunas dificultades al discriminar sonidos en géneros y formas musicales pertenecientes al repertorio nacional. La presente investigación es de diseño no experimental y nivel descriptivo que fue desarrollado en una muestra de 21 niños de cinco años.
