The report addresses the management of parallel processes and synchronization in concurrent systems, highlighting common problems in accessing shared resources that affect efficiency and stability. It also highlights the need to optimize the management of large volumes of data and improve academic cooperation to develop advanced solutions.The objective of the study is to identify and analyze synchronization strategies that optimize parallel processes, evaluating their effectiveness in different scenarios and offering recommendations based on recent literature. Technological advances have allowed to collect and store large volumes of data over the years. Besides, it is significant that today's applications have high performance and can analyze these large datasets effectively. Today, it remains a challenge for data mining to make its algorithms and applications equally efficient in the need of increasing data size and dimensionality [1]. To achieve this goal, many applications rely on parallelism, because it is an area that allows the reduction of cost depending on the execution time of the algorithms because it takes advantage of the characteristics of current computer architectures to run several processes concurrently [2]. This paper proposes a parallel version of the FuzzyPred algorithm based on the amount of data that can be processed within each of the processing threads, synchronously and independently.

There is a wide variety of techniques that increase application performance by alleviating one or more of the most important problems with today's processors. In this work, the execution time, speedup and efficiency of the linear Apriori algorithm are shown as well as parallel with the use of OpenMP. By identifying the frequent elements of transactional databases, in processing 5 thousand records the time improves in 42,078 seconds of the algorithm with openMP compared to the sequential algorithm, in the execution 8 processor cores were used.

Nowadays, some of the most popular tools for parallel programming are Message Passing Interface and Open Multi-Processing. It is of interest to compare these tools in solving the same kind of problems, because of the use of different approaches to inter-task communication. This work attempts to contribute to this goal by running trials in a centralized shared memory architecture in the case of problems with an entirely parallel solution. The selected case study was the parallel computation of Mandelbrot set. Trials were conducted for different iteration limits, processors amount, and C++ implementation variants. The results show better performance in the case of Open Multi-Processing.

Metal mining is one of the economic pillars of the Peruvian economy. Peru is the main producer of gold, zinc, lead, and tin in Latin America and the second largest producer of copper, silver, and zinc worldwide. Despite its economic importance, mining has also left a plethora of Mining Environmental Liabilities (MEL) whose inadequate waste management represents a risk for both the environment and human health and is a common trigger of social problems. The Cajamarca región is the second región in Peru in terms of the number of MEL sites with the majority of them located in the Hualgayoc district. Style transfer is a natural language processing generation task, it consists of substituting one given writing style for another one. In this work, we seek to perform informal-to-formal style transfers in the English language by using a style transfer model that takes advantage of the GPT-2. This process is shown in our web interface where the user input a informal message by text or voice. Our target audience are students and professionals in the need to improve the quality of their work by formalizing their texts. A style transfer is considered successful when the original semantic meaning of the message is preserved after the independent style has been replaced with a formal one with a high degree of grammatical correctness. Esta investigación tiene como finalidad mejorar la calidad de los afirmados de los caminos vecinales de la ciudad de Candarave-Tacna, producidos en canteras mediante la “Estabilización de afirmados obtenidos de las canteras Arunta, Cerro Blanco, Hospicio, Miculla y Morán para conformación de Afirmados incrementando los valores referenciales de los parámetros de calidad propuestos por el manual de carreteras EG 2013”. Los estabilizadores seleccionados para el material son la Tierra de Chacra y el estabilizador Z con polímeros. Dadurch hervorgerufene Verformungen der Reflektoroberfläche verändern deren geometrischen Eigenschaften und können die ursprüngliche Position und Form des Brennpunkts verändern. Eine Abweichung dieses Brennpunkt von der Lage der Primärantenne beeinflusst die Leistungsfähigkeit des Teleskops. Die vorliegende Arbeit zeigt eine Methode zur theoretischen Abschätzung der Verformung durch das Eigengewicht des Reflektors des INRAS RT–20. Jene nach der Idee des homologen Designs von Hoerners konstruierten Teleskopen weisen eine Stützstruktur auf, die die Reflektorfläche unabhängig vom Elevationswinkel in einer der ursprünglichen Form ähnlichen Gestalt halten. Conforme a la Ley Procesal del Trabajo, las resoluciones administrativas firmes emitidas por la autoridad de trabajo en un procedimiento inspectivo sancionador constituyen títulos ejecutivos; sin embargo, el beneficiario de la obligación prefiere utilizarlo como medio probatorio en un proceso ordinario o abreviado y no recurrir directamente a su ejecución en un proceso ejecutivo laboral. Esta situación origina que, en sede judicial, se vuelva a analizar un tema que ya fue determinado por el sistema inspectivo de trabajo, lo que trae consigo que existan discrepancias de criterios entre lo resuelto por la autoridad administrativa y el órgano jurisdiccional correspondiente, deslegitimando el sistema de protección de los derechos del trabajador. Los filtros medianos son una técnica digital no lineal normalmente usada para remover ruido blanco, ’sal y pimienta’ de imágenes digitales. Consiste en reemplazar el valor de cada pixel por la mediana de los valores circundantes. Las implementaciones en punto flotante usan ordenamientos con técnicas de comparación para encontrar la mediana. Un método trivial de ordenar n elementos tiene una complejidad de O(n2), y los ordenamientos más rápidos tienen complejidad de O(n log n) al calcular la mediana de n elementos. Sin embargo, éstos algoritmos suelen tener fuerte divergencia en su ejecución. Otras implementaciones usan algoritmos basados en histogramas, y obtienen sus mejores desempeños cuando operan con filtros de ventanas grandes. The main objective of the project is to demonstrate the feasibility of recycling pickling-tanning baths, ensuring the quality of the final product at ali times and achieving, on the one hand, the reduction of saline pollution (50%) caused by pickling and tanning baths and, on the other hand, the reduction of chromium salt (14%) in tanning wastewater. With regards to the anatytical parameters of the bath, the results show that the parameters analysed (pH, conductivity, density, chlorides, sulphates, chrome, solids in suspension and fats) are stabilised and the values obtained do not imply interferences in the pickling-tanning process. In parallel to the execution of these analyses, physical and chemical tests for quality control of the leathers were carried out, both on wet-blue and crust leathers.
