In this paper addresses the initial value problem for the Navier-Stokes equations in Rm (m = 2; 3;..) with initial condition in the subspace PLp(Rm) of Lp(Rm), characterized by the null divergence condition. The problem is studied considering its integral formulation, where an argument of successive approximations is used. The existence and uniqueness of the local solution is proven depending on a condition of smallness in the time of existence. On the other hand, the overall result is tested with a small amount of the initial data.

For the present investigation, data collection was done through books relating to the subject, which resulted in a summary. Often presents the problem of solving a partial differential equation subject to certain conditions. This leads to problems with boundary or initial value. In some cases the solutions obtained do not satisfy one of the initial conditions, however with the aid of Fourier series it is possible to identify a solution that satisfies all the conditions. In 1807, the French mathematician Joseph Fourier series Fourier introduced its most important research work, which developed the theory of heat conduction. These new series became one of the most important tools of mathematics to be widely applicable. The objective of this research is to determine a mathematical model that allows us to predict the temperature of a solid body at any future time.

The aim of the present study was to observe if there are differences in the level of the burnout dimensions between teachers who have experienced symptoms or health problems in the last year and those who have not in a sample of 223 teachers working in educational institutions (elementary school level). Participants completed the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) in its teachers’ version, and a sociodemographic survey. A two –independent t test was carried out in order to see if both groups of teachers differed significantly in the values obtained for the MBI dimensions (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of personal accomplishment). The results of the t test showed significant differences between the groups of teachers, specifically in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, showing higher values in the group of teachers who reported suffering fr...

In this paper, we proposes an algorithm to approximate the Geodesic distance between points p and q of sphere, through the numerical solution of initial value problem associated with the system of ordinary differential equations of the geodesics; for this an appropriate direction is obtained.

In this paper, we proposes an algorithm to approximate the Euclidean distance between points p and q of plane, by doing a search of geodesic that depart from the point p and arrive to a neighborhood of the point q . This search is done through the numerical solution of initial value problems associated with the system of ordinary differential equations of the geodesics; for this is choose a set of directions in the plane.

In the context of the sociocultural approach, the authors studied the problem of the development of the students’ conceptual mental structures in the process of geometry teaching. An educational activity for the development of a generalized ability to solve geometry construction problems in electronic educational environment served as a development means. The objective of the research is to introduce a characteristic of the technology for the formation of the students’ generalized ability to solve geometry construction problems in electronic educational environment focusing on the development of conceptual mental structures. The key factor is the transition from the content-based mathematics teaching to instrument and value-based one, which corresponds to the transformation of the content sphere of mathematical knowledge into procedural and contextual. Construction problems introduce...

This research seeks to analyze the variables involved in prosocial behavior and his ability to act as a protective factor against gambling addiction. This study is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational. The sample was made up of 258 adults residing in the province of Valencia (59.5% women) with a mean age of 20.95 years (SD = 2.19). Questionnaires were applied to measure the variables involved (Brief Resilient Coping Scale, cuestionario de apoyo social, Escala de Prosocialidad y South Oaks Gambling Screen) and a structural equation model was performed. The results showed good fit indices (X2 (41) = 59.31, p = .06; CFI = .97; GFI = .96; RMSEA = .04) and indicated that social support and resilience were not related, being both predictors of prosocial behaviors. Furthermore, prosocial behaviors were predictors of gambling addiction. This research presents an explanato...

In this work the one-dimensional boundary-value problem given in (1) is considered. The solution of the problem by means of finite-difference method comes near supposing that the function c(x) is nonnegative on 0,1, which allows to establish the convergence of the considered method of approximation. The use of the finite-difference method, in turn, involves the solution of linear systems with very sparse‟ matrices, whose zeros are arranged in quite remarkable fashion. These matrices are of tridiagonal type. For the solution of these systems the Thomas‟ method has been used.

Currently, we are facing a significant increase in transactions with cryptocurrencies as an alternative to the traditional payment system, and even as an investment; so, most countries in the world have already taken action on the tax treatment of these transactions: There are various pronouncements issued by the tax authorities in the world and, in some jurisdictions, specific legislative measures have been adopted to regulate the tax effects of transactions with cryptocurrencies. For that reason, it is necessary to evaluate the current tax treatment of activities with cryptocurrencies in Peruvian legislation, in order to identify -from a comparative perspective- the main tax problems and to provide some guidelines to be taken into account for an eventual regulation.

A contingent valuation study was conducted to estimate tourists' willingness to pay (WTP) for an environmental fee aimed at enhancing nature protection in Aruba. Stay-Over tourists (staying at least one night) and cruise tourists (visiting without staying overnight) were surveyed. A random sample was used, stratified by nationality for stay-over tourists and a random sample for cruise tourists. Surveys were conducted in person at Aruba's exit points, such as airports and ports. Binomial logistic regression models were applied to assess the likelihood that tourists will contribute to Aruba's conservation, and simple linear regression models were used to estimate WTP.A higher percentage of cruise tourists (52.7%) compared to Stay-Over tourists (47.3%) indicated that they are willing to pay for nature conservation; however, Stay-Over tourists have a higher WTP per visit. This contributes t...

Water is an essential good for human life; therefore, it is not strange that in the history of humanity certain cultures have even attributed religious values to it. Currently, fresh water seems to be becoming increasingly scarce and its management presents significant problems, which has led to reconsidering the values attributed to this resource, and the way in which it is assigned to its different uses. Traditionally, water has been distributed through a variety of social agreements, but not through markets, based on the validity of private property rights over water.

In this paper we consider the fractional Hamiltonian system given by(0.1) −tDα T(0Dα t u(t)) = ∇F(t,u(t)), a.e t ∈ [0,T] u(0) = u(T) = 0.where α ∈ (1/2,1), t ∈ [0,T], u ∈Rn, F : [0,T]×Rn →R is a given function and ∇F(t,u) is the gradient of F at u. The novelty of this paper is that, using a modified version of mountain pass theorem for functional bounded from below we prove the existence of at least three solutions for (0.2).

The recent controversy over the theory of capital and distribution, the discussions on Sraffa and the revival of studies on Marx's work that appeared in the 50's and especially in recent years have brought again closer to the table some old issues of Political Economy. Among them, the relationship between the theory of value and the theory of distribution. This question, as is known, can be traced back very far. To not go so far, remember that in Ricardo's work can be found clearly stated this issue. The unfinished quest for an invariable standard of value is linked precisely with the contradictory effects that a change in wages or benefits had on costs and prices, effects that were due – as perceived by Ricardo - to the different proportions of capital and work required by each industry. Much later, Sraffa thought he had found the underlying principle used for his own theoretical cons...
