The main objective of this study was the design and implementation of instruments to evaluate teacher’s performance in a higher education distance unit of a public mexican university. The process consisted of an eight-stage program, based on information generated by interviews, group discussions and document revisions. As a result, three instruments were designed and implemented to collect information from different perspectives: from the student, the supervisor and the evaluated person himself.

A cross-sectional epidemiological investigation was carried out to determine the risk factors associated with the dissemination of brucellosis to humans in milk processing centres and slaughterhouses in seven cantons of the province of Manabí, Ecuador, between September and November 2015. A census was conducted to quantify farms processing milk, milk processing centres and slaughterhouses. A total of 119 dairy farms, seven slaughterhouses and seven milk processing centres were selected. They were characterized in terms of the types of products produced and on the presence of risk factors as causes of brucellosis in humans. The paper analyzes U.S. jurisdiction, highlighting how courts assume jurisdiction in disputes involving citizens or entities of other countries. In the U.S. system, jurisdiction depends on the State where the dispute occurs, which often requires the intervention of courts in different States or countries. In this regard, the two classic methods of securing jurisdiction are explained: on the one hand, “in personam” jurisdiction, which refers to jurisdiction over persons; on the other, “in rem” jurisdiction, which deals with property within the state; and, as a third and developing basis, “quasi in rem” jurisdiction, used in some exceptional cases, is discussed. We extend the class of M-tests for a unit root analyzed by Perron and Ng (1996) and Ng and Perron (1997) to the case where a change in the trend function is allowed to occur at an unknown time. These tests M(GLS) adopt the GLS detrending approach of Dufour and King (1991) and Elliott, Rothenberg and Stock (1996) (ERS). Following Perron (1989), we consider two models: one allowing for a change in slope and the other for both a change in intercept and slope. We derive the asymptotic distribution of the tests as well as that of the feasible point optimal tests PT(GLS) suggested by ERS. The asymptotic critical values of the tests aretabulated. Also, we compute the non-centrality parameter used for the local GLS detrending that permits the tests to have 50% asymptotic power at that value. This article aspires to be a contribution to an anthropological approach on housing and habitat, understanding both notions as complex socio-cultural phenomena. In this sense, our aim is to reflect —from an ethnographic point of view— on the processes whereby living spaces are appropriated, as well as to reflect on certain features that neighbors’ sociability adopts in a social-interest housing complex built as a large urban unit in the South-East area of Buenos Aires, specifically in the barrio of Villa Soldati. The aim of this thesis is hydro-geological characterized a Santa Rosa Mining District (SMD). Digital Elevation Model (DEM), geological cartography, hydrogeological, mine data and different thematic maps, generated with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and numerical models were used to characterize the hydrology of SMD. In several field campaigns were cartographies and inventoried 270 water point, four open pit and two types of metallurgical waste in an area of 878 Ha according to the results two aquifers wear delimited: Formation Chimú fractured aquifer and formation Inca Chulec karstic aquifer. The application of different unit root statistics is by now a standard practice in empirical work. Even when it is a practical issue, these statistics have complex nonstandard distributions depending on functionals of certain stochastic processes, and their derivations represent a barrier even for many theoretical econometricians. These derivations are based on rigorous and fundamental statistical tools which are not (very) well known by standard econometricians. Esta investigación se centra en la implementación de la reingeniería del proceso de medición de los Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) importados por un centro de distribución de una empresa especializada en la venta de productos para la mejora del hogar y materiales de construcción. Para identificar los factores que influyen en el proceso y optimizarlo, se realizó un estudio de tiempos y movimientos del proceso utilizando la herramienta conocida como diagrama de espagueti. Como resultado, se incrementó la productividad y disminuyeron los tiempos muertos, lo que permitió medir en menos tiempo el universo de SKU. El estudio también condujo a la configuración del sistema utilizando datos correctos, lo que facilitó la operación dentro del almacén.

The aim of this paper is to trace the morphologization process that allowed the formation of a prefix from an adverb, both coinciding in the form no. In order to do this, we consider the theory of grammaticalization to analyze a corpus of 794 Spanish words with no-, gathered from different sources from the 13th to the 21st century. The results show the different stages of the change process in which the adverb expanded its contextual distribution, which allowed it to appear before nouns. In this context, the adverb acquires the typical characteristics of a negation prefix, with specific meaning nuances according to the type of noun base it attaches to: total negation for deverbal nouns (no inclusión, ‘non-inclusion’) or partial negation in the case of concrete nouns (no libro, ‘non-book’).

In the present investigation the curricular microdiseño was elaborated from the didactic units corresponding to the Module of attention to the smaller than 19 years I, corresponding the plan of study of the specialty of General Integral Estomatología, the universe was constituted by 59 residents that studied the first year during the school course 2018-2019, the results they were analyzed through the absolute frequency and the percentage, to check the feasibility of the proposal you applies the statistician Mac Nemar, being proven the changes of before and after having applied the instrument (it proves of acting), as well as a survey of satisfaction to the residents, the obtained results make of this proposal an alternative for the improvement of the process teaching learning in the formation of the posgrado.

The rights of children and adolescents, as well as other beneficiaries entitled to support, are a priority that must be asserted. The objective is to determine the impact on the principle of the best interests of the child of the lack of legal regulations that enable the timely and proportional payment of child support by obligated payers with multiple households. The approach is mixed, descriptive-analytical, and statistical information was collected from the Ecuadorian Automatic Judicial Processing System (SATJE) and the Single System of Child Support (SUPA). The SUPA results reveal pensions below $200, and 22% of the cards are for pensions under $100. The article analyzes the political mobilization of the Central Commission group and the struggle for power in the dispute to govern in Unit 071 of the National Pedagogical University (UPN) in Chiapas, Mexico, in the midst of neoliberal policy in higher education. The qualitative positioning and use of ethnography, through participant observation, data were collected from three moments in the power dispute: appointment of the director, resignation due to closure of university facilities and persistence of the struggle to maintain the form of governance.
