The new species Noticastrum sanchezvegae for the paramo of northern Peru, from the departmentof Cajamarca, is described and illustrated. For this purpose, the differential characters with respectto N. macbridei Cuatrec. from central Peru are indicated, and a new key is given for the 21 speciesdescribed in South America. N. sanchezvegae is distinguished from the rest of the species by its denseindumentum of glanduliferous and non-glanduliferous trichomes that give the plants a woollyappearance, and the small size of flowers and achenes.

The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the technology proposal for a process of generating electrical energy from the residues of the forest exploitation of the Macurijes Agroforestry Company. For which a proposal for steam boiler technology is analyzed based on the potential of standing forest biomass and forest residues, as well as an analysis of the feasibility of the technology investment project. As a result, 6 MWh of generation is obtained from the turbine coupled to the electric generator based on 62,000 tons per year, 1,666 t/day, which represents around 7/t/ hours with a boiler that produces steam at 25 atm or bar at 460 degrees Celsius in 7,000 hours per year as a result of periodic maintenance stops. The Tropical Peruvian Andes host a great ecosystem diversity such as the montane cloud forest at the southern east slopes. The subaerial moist habitats along the Alccamayo creek belong to Aguas Calientes, Cusco . They were evaluated in winter (august 2017) between 2184 and 3000 m of elevation with the mean temperature between 16 and 18°C. In the southern highland Andean, the cryosphere of the Allincapac glaciers, Carabaya Cordillera, Puno, was evaluated in summer season (february 2018) between 4500 and 4700 m elevation. Exceptions aside, the production of timber from natural forests in Peru does not result from the application of sustainable forest management. Therefore, wood exploitation degrades the forest and contributes to severely reduce its ecosystem services. The most evident direct cause of degradation has been the transfer of responsibility for forest management to the private sector, which, under the current and predicable economic and social context, is unable to carry out a sustainable management that is also profitable (Dourojeanni 2019, 2020). Antes de la pandemia por la COVID-19, la evaluación de los estudiantes de los cursos artísticos de la Facultad de Arte y Diseño de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) solía partir de una percepción sensorial completa de sus propuestas creativas materiales, así como de la observación de sus procesos de trabajo y de las interacciones que ocurrían en el aula. Desde el año 2020, sin embargo, todos estos elementos restringieron drásticamente a la comunicación virtual y, con ella, a la observación de las pocas fotografías digitales que los propios estudiantes lograban registrar de sus trabajos. The reactivation of tourism had been studied by the influence of the habitus of movement and stay, but with the health contingency, this process was mediated by the information from the places with biosecurity protocols. The objective of the present work was to contrast a model of the determinants of stay, considering the mediating variables of the information. A confirmatory, psychometric, and cross-sectional study was carried out with a selection of 100 students from a public university in central Mexico. A factorial structure was found that explained 61% of the variance and established the intention to transfer as a predictor, suggesting the extension of the work towards biosafety protocols.

In the eighteenth century, land titles played a central role in the resolution of land conflicts. This article addresses the different interactions that actors entertained with the production of papers (conservation, care, loss, recovery) not from a legal or theoretical perspective but from the perspective of its use, i.e., actors not as agents but as users. The use of papers refers to a non-theoretical or necessarily conscious handling of documents, and instead, emphasizes the practicalities of interacting with and transfering such papers to the archive.
