En el Perú, personas y organizaciones cuestionan los programas cómicos televisivos, debido a sus contenidos racistas. Este estudio indaga sobre las manifestaciones racistas que presentan, así como las diferencias entre dos series elegidas por su popularidad. En esa intención y siguiendo un diseño descriptivo-comparativo, se analizó cuantitativamente los niveles de racismo manifiestos en una muestra incidental de 18 ediciones (9 por programa), equivalente a dos meses de difusión. Se utilizó una ficha de análisis de contenido, para evidenciar que ambos programas presentan contenido racistas sutiles, denigrantes y discriminatorios. Estos contenidos son presentados sin que exista diferencia significativa entre ambos. Asimismo, los estereotipos predominantes, refieren al físico, a la lengua y a la clase social.

The present work aims at developing the particular link that journalistic research programs establish with the reality represented with two modalities as starting points: commitment (complaint) and (surveillance) protection. These links are established from the characterization of a social cartography whose limits are framed in the relationship with certain subjects, spaces, and practices: those located on the margins and the conflict with law or social norms. A reflection on the functions which these operations build for television as a means: surveillance of context and modeling subjects and practices is also provided.

This paper contributes to the reflection on the process of transition from analog television to digital television which is to be broadcasted in Peru and considers that digital television offers a better sound and image quality and less interference. The process of technological migration may take 1 O years. Peru has already opted for rhe Japanese standard HDTV, which among orher advanrages offers portable and mobile reception. Nonetheless, the high resolution relevision does not seem feasible not does ir make enrreprises more competitive. En los últimos 20 años se incrementó la competencia entre las cadenas televisivas locales por encabezar los índices de audiencia de los programas periodísticos de señal abierta los domingos por las mañanas. En ese contexto, desde 2003 Frecuencia Latina apostó por un programa periodístico de reportajes cuyos productores y periodistas habían formado parte de exitosos magazines de las mañanas y las noches en Panamericana TV. Reporte Semanal en estos 16 años ha evolucionado e innovado nuevas estrategias para enfrentar nuevos retos. La experiencia desde reportero hasta director general del programa permite analizar algunos casos que expresan nuestra aspiración de perfeccionar contenidos en la televisión.

During the quarantine established by the COVID-19 pandemic, peruvian families extended their hours of attention to television, and demonstrated a preference for programs that present topics related to religiosity and domestic violence. Based on a systematization of audience ratings in Lima and six regions, the perception of young university students regarding the reasons for this preference was investigated. A survey was applied to 100 young university students about the rating registered between March 15 and June 30, 2020, of the soap opera “La rosa de Guadalupe” (in Mexican and Peruvian versions) and the “Nunca más”. The Ministry of Culture´s online TV channel, cultura24.tv, is a platform destined for the distribution of audiovisual content specialized in art and culture via web. It´s way of operation is based on the digital convergence of two languages: the television and the internet, furthermore proposing a new perspective on the way in which audiovisuals are delivered to the audience. In this document you will find a descriptive review of the operation, starting from the project stage, showing the development process of an online TV channel and finally explaining the various components and stages that it has, contributing to the development of similar initiatives.

El presente trabajo para optar el ti´tulo de Licenciada en Comunicacio´n aborda tres hitos importantes dentro del desarrollo de mi carrera profesional. Están relacionados con mi trabajo como productora, primero como asistente de producción en La Revista Dominical (América Televisión, 1996-1999) y luego como productora ejecutiva del programa talk show Señora León, en el año 2005 (Frecuencia Latina), para finalizar con mi desempeño en el programa dominical Día D (Andina de Televisión, 2006-2009). Consigno material audiovisual de los tres programas que representan mi función dentro de ellos.

La cuadragésima segunda temporada del famoso programa de humor Saturday Night Live dedicó gran parte de sus segmentos a criticar duramente el camino de Donald Trump a la presidencia de Estados Unidos entre 2016 y 2017. Se realizó un análisis de contenido del discurso humorístico y aspectos audiovisuales que permitieron al programa hacer un comentario político durante dicha temporada. Se ha logrado comprobar que Saturday Night Live utiliza estratégicamente dichos elementos para criticar a Donald Trump, exponiendo su perfil como candidato y gobernante. El aporte de este análisis está en la aplicación práctica de la metodología para el análisis de otros contenidos de humor político en diferentes soportes o medios.

This research is about what the “Aprendo en casa” strategy in Peru in 2020 meant from two of its main resources, radio and television. The objective was to analyze communicationally and evaluate the programs of both media. Thirty-two pieces from all educational levels were discussed, in seven months, with 27 expert communicators, and the experience from 50 target actors of the strategy was evaluated. The study was methodologically naturalistic, with a qualitative approach, indirect hermeneutical and phenomenological typologies, and under an open coding design. Trampolín a la Fama, aclamado programa por la audiencia peruana, fue un espacio de humor, arte y entretenimiento. En su narrativa, se escondía un estilo de humor de barrio que justificaba la discriminación en el humor. Se analizó la percepción de hombres y mujeres de 40 a 60 años de Lima Metropolitana sobre el humor asociado a situaciones de discriminación racial y social en las décadas de 1980 y 1990. La presente investigación es de carácter cualitativo y exploratorio, donde se utilizó un grupo focal y análisis de contenido. Este trabajo de investigación muestra cómo afectan los distintos criterios aplicados en los programas de carácter híbrido, que son una mezcla de los programas periodísticos y de entretenimiento, en la televisión peruana de señal abierta para incluir dentro de sus temas aquellos de carácter policial. Esta investigación busca identificar de qué manera se genera la violencia simbólica a niños en los medios de comunicación. Por ello, se analiza el rol importante que juega la televisión en el fortalecimiento de los patrones sociales asignados a las niñas o niños y, asimismo, se identifica los roles en que se presentan a las niñas y niños en los programas de entretenimiento emitidos en horario de protección familiar. Hoy en día la asistencia a la Educación Inicial beneficia al desarrollo integral del niño y con ello surgen las altas expectativas de padres de familias y maestros en la etapa preescolar y escolar, ya que se espera que el niño cumpla con alcanzar ciertas metas o contar con las habilidades necesarias que puedan ayudarlo durante su formación. Para llegar a alcanzar estas metas, es importante el acompañamiento de los educadores, así como el apoyo y refuerzo en casa a través de los padres de familia, ambas causan un impacto directo tanto en la parte cognitiva, social y emocional del niño. This article presents the genesis/development of the construction of a quality index for open television in Chile, the main findings of its application in the year 2007 and their comparison with the findings obtained in 2006. A theoretical analysis of the concept of quality in the mass media industry, and a qualitative study that shed light on the concept from the viewpoint of the industry as well as that of TV audiences and advertisers, provided the background to generate an index whose main strenght is that it integrates the opinion of viewers, their behaviour, the intrinsic quality of the product and the distinction as much as in the form as in the contents according to programming genre.
