The objective of the study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the DASS-21 Scale in adults from the Province of San Martín, 403 people (34%) men and (66%) women from 18 years old participated, it was a psychometric study and instrumental design applying the survey and the questionnaire as an instrument as a technique, it was obtained as results that the items did not present extreme levels, nor presence of bias at the time of being answered, in the same way the CFA demonstrated consistency in the oblique model of three factors CFI = .936, TLI = .922, RMSEA = .054 and SRMR = .047, in addition the scale is invariant in sex and age CFI (ΔCFI <.015) and RMSEA (ΔRMSEA> .01) and a reliability> .70 In this way, it is shown that the scale has adequate psychometric properties for the study sample.

The optimal selection of orthodontic archwires allows the professional to make the treatment in an efficient way; therefore, the knowledge of basic mechanical properties is required, which are not revealed by their manufacturers. One of the biggest problems faced by the researcher who is interested in studying property in Andean communities is that there is not only one solution. After 400 years of being exposed to multiple pressures from Western society, the Andean world, in order to survive, learned to camouflage itself under the cultural clothing of the dominators. Consequently, it is not surprising that it incorporated a good part of the legal terminology of the latter and that at the same time they preserved that which was more appropriate to their uses and customs along with the social system.

It describes the chemical characteristics and the effects of Ayahuasca consumption, in order to know the current status of the discoveries to date regarding their pharmacological properties. A literature review was performed on studies of ayahuasca until 2013 in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in the databases of PubMed, PsycINFO, Psyke, Psicodoc, and Redalyc; as well as chapters in books and literature obtained from related research. It is concluded that one of the components of ayahuasca – harmina – can be used to treat different pathologies.

The anatomy of the unopened spear leaf of the chambira palm (Astrocaryum chambira), from which chambira fiber is extracted, is described and compared with that of three species (Astrocaryum jauari, occasionally used for fiber extraction, A. standleyanum and A. perangustatum, which do not provide any fiber). The purpose of this study was to translate the Bedtime Procrastination Scale (BPS) into Spanish and to evaluate its psychometric properties. A sample of 419 students from three Peruvian universities participated in the study. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the original model of the scale, which initially showed poor fit indices. Improved fit indices were obtained after removing reverse-scored item, χ²(5) = 9.240, CFI = .998, RMSEA = .045, TLI = .997, and SRMR = .013. The internal consistency of the scale, examined using the omega coefficient, was found to be satisfactory (ω = .86). The objective of this study was to analyze the psychometric properties of the Scale of Alteration of the Behavior in the School (SABS) in a sample of Peruvian children of 1º to 6º degree of elemental education, and to obtain evidences that support their use like instrument of screening for behavioural alterations (BA). One obtained an acceptable Reliability through method of internal consistency (alpha de Cronbach = 0.937), as well as evidence of internal structure of the test, factorial validity (two factors that explain 61.986% of variance) and of criterial validity. To these they say us results that the Scale of Alteration of the Behavior in the School (SABS) is an instrument valid and reliable to be used like method of valuation of behavioural alterations in students of 1.º to 6.º of primary education.

To determine the mechanical and supporting properties of the plates for Hydrabolt rock bolts, compression and tensile tests have been performed. The tests were carried out in the Materials Laboratory of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), from which it is concluded that the plates that undergo less compression deformation are the corner plates, which deform 14.01 mm for a maximum load of 41.56 KN, while the refined plates deform 25.10 mm for the maximum load of 40.56 KN. The plates that are most deformed by compression and traction are the refined plates. The corner ones are the least deformed, 28.91% to compression and 28.40% to central traction. Gallium antimonide binary semiconductor has had many applications in optoelectronic devices in recent years. The study of their defects in semiconductor materials is of vital interest for this type of application. But, in addition to the routine characterization of the undoped semiconductor, it is necessary to characterize the effects produced by electrically active impurities in the doped samples. In this work, the structural and electronic properties of the vanadium doped gallium antimonide binary semiconductor (GaSb: V) were studied by means of an Atomic Force Microscope. The scan of its surface was carried out in the tapping mode to obtain images of the topography and topographic profiles of the sample, while the electronic properties were determined through the I vs V curves obtained by the contact mode.
