The 2016 Ecuador earthquake (Mw 7.8), is part of the sequence of large earthquakes in Ecuador and Colombia: 1906 (8.4 to 8.8 Mw), 1942 (Mw 7.8), 1958 (Mw 7.7), 1979 (Mw 8.2), all these events with a focal mechanism of the thrust fault type. In this research, we have obtain the seismic source distribution (indicating the presence of 2 main asperities), from inversion of teleseismic signals, as well as the parameters of the seismic rupture process: focal mechanism that indicates a type of inverse fault (strike = 25°, dip = 12°, rake = 118°) for a focal depth of 23 km and the source time function indicating a composite event, the duration of the rupture process was around 70 s, assuming an average rupture velocity of 3.0 km/s. This dissertation investigates the potential improvement of volcanic eruption understanding and forecasting methods by using advanced data processing techniques to analyze large datasets at three target volcanoes (Piton de la Fournaise (PdlF) (France), Sabancaya, and Ubinas (Peru)). The central objective of this study is to search for possible empirical relationships between the pre-eruptive behavior of the accelerated increase in seismic activity using the Failure Forecast Method (FFM) and velocity variations measured by Coda Wave Interferometry (CWI), since both observations are reported to be independently associated with medium damage. Romantic breakups involve great psychological and emotional suffering. However, there are factors that allow subjects to achieve adequate well-being. The Dual Process Model proposes two types of tasks (loss-oriented and life-restoration-oriented) to be performed in order to cope with a breakup. Our aim is to analyse the differences in the use of these strategies depending on the gender of the individuals and their role at the onset of the breakup. The results conclude that women cope with breakups through restorative strategies. In terms of the initiator role, when the breakup is produced by mutual decision, mainly loss-focused strategies are used.

Este trabajo determina la influencia de la adición de Sika Fiber Force - 48, estudia la correlación entre el módulo de rotura y la resistencia a la compresión del concreto cemento - arena de f’c=280 kg/cm2, elaborado con agregado fino de 1.97 de módulo de fineza de la región. La investigación es de tipo cuali-cuantitativa; de nivel descriptivo y explicativo; de diseño cuasi experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 132 probetas, de las cuales 33 pertenecen a la muestra patrón y 99 a la muestra de diseño experimental con relaciones A/C = 0.47, 0.52 y 0.58 y cuatro diferentes dosificaciones de macrofibra iguales a 0.00 kg/m3, 0.20kg/m3, 0.35kg/m3 y 0.50kg/m3, las que fueron evaluadas a los 7 y 28 días de curado. La presente investigación abarca el estudio físico y mecánico de la madera machimango negro Eschweilera coreacea, procedente de un bosque natural de las inmediaciones de la capital del distrito de Alto Nanay, provincia de Maynas - Perú. La investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo y de diseño no experimental. Se aplicó la estadística descriptiva para el procesamiento de la información. Los resultados indican que esta especie de madera tiene una densidad comprendida entre 1.091 gr/cm3 y 1.123 gr/cm3, siendo el promedio de 1.113 gr/cm3, correspondiendo el valor inferior a un contenido de humedad de 14.58%, y el valor superior a 14.78%. The objective of the research was to determine the effect of temperature and pressure on defibrillation in grapevine pruning residues for the production of biogas in a high-efficiency anaerobic biodigester. Laboratory tests were carried out in a thermohydrolyzer designed to evaluate steam explosion thermohydrolysis and determine the effect of temperature and pressure on the defibrillation of residues from vine pruning. Several surgical techniques have been described as treatments for these injuries, the main objective being to restore adequate tensile strength to support body weight. Because the tendon is poorly vascularized and constantly subjected to tension, the healing process is often complex and time-consuming.
