Picking is a basic process within warehouse management, comprising the activities carried out since the order is received until the products are located in the warehouse and are ready for dispatch. The objective of this study was to optimize the productivity of the picking process in a Peruvian food company. For this purpose, a pre-test and post-test methodology was designed with a qualitative and descriptive approach in order to suggest an innovative proposal. Lean Warehousing techniques, such as 5s and Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) were utilized, as well as an inventory record automation model and ADKAR, a change management model. Bonding failures of brackets and the repositioning of them occur quite often during the orthodontic treatment. Upon this situation, the professional may choose to stick the same bracket or bond a new one. The purpose of this study was to evaluate changes of the bonding strength of reconditioned brackets with direct flame, microetching and new brackets attached several times on the same tooth surface in vitro. 60 healthy human premolars extracted for orthodontic reasons were randomly assigned to 3 groups: Group I reconditioned brackets with air abrasion; Group II: reconditioned brackets with flame; Group III: new brackets. A pediatric stander is an adapted piece of equipment whose function is to achieve the vertical position of the child when motor control is inadequate, in other words, when the child cannot stand and control his weight against gravity, having the age to do it. This technical equipment is necessary for patients diagnosed with cerebral palsy who have already acquired head control and initiated trunk control. This product has a high value in Peru. For the generation of this equipment, we will apply a computer editing and design process, we will follow a 5-step process in addition to applying CAD, CAE, and CAM techniques, emphasizing the design optimization method. Finally, we will verify how the application of this methodology, together with computer simulation, allows us to generate a functional, resistant prototype and, in the main point, with optimization in design and acquisition costs.

En los últimos años, la demanda de combustibles fósiles ha ido en aumento y esto ha generado una escasez en las reservas mundiales lo que limita el crecimiento económico; ejemplo de ello es Tocache, una de las provincias más aisladas y pobres del Perú. En este estudio se aborda el uso de residuos lignocelulósicos como la cáscara de cacao para generar biocombustible, cuyo objetivo es comparar los resultados experimentales con los obtenidos de la simulación. Asimismo, se realizaron los procesos de pretratamiento, hidrólisis enzimática y fermentación en la Universidad Técnica de Machala. In this decade, the way of simulating medical scenarios has evolved considerably, for some years now, this area and virtual reality came together giving life to a much more immersive form of simulation. The great challenge in medical simulation is to achieve a consid-erable level of realism and performance, as it is limited by the complexity of the scenario and other factors, the hardware factor being the main limiting. The textile industry represents 6.4% of the G.D.P., which has a high demand for orders with fast and correct deliveries. Nevertheless, there is a rate of returns that has been increasing in the last few years due to the high number of orders received. For this reason, the article is based on a case study of a SME.That sells children's clothing in Peru. A model was developed using 5s methodology, ABC Multicriteria, Jidoka, and Standardized Work, seeking to improve the current 7.14% of returns. The proposed model was implemented with a pilot plan and simulated with Arena Software, proving that the combination of Lean methodologies can optimize the warehouse processes, reducing the rate of returns to 4%.

El siguiente trabajo consiste en el diseño y producción de contenido para Shortcut, un canal multiplataforma de tutoriales de edición y animación digital, creado para difundir contenido técnico. Este incluye el diseño de la identidad visual de la marca y la producción del contenido, que comprende de videotutoriales para YouTube, gráficas para redes sociales y mini tutoriales para Reels y TikTok. El objetivo fue crear contenido de calidad, conciso y de corta duración, que pudiera brindar soluciones rápidas a problemas específicos. Finalmente, se presenta un apartado de las lecciones que fueron aprendidas en el transcurso de la implementación del proyecto.

Los orígenes de este proyecto se remontan al 2010, año en el que supe que iba a ser padre. Desde allí nace una necesidad de fotografiar a mi hija que se ha ido reafirmando conforme va pasando el tiempo pues he ido siendo más consciente del paso del tiempo y de cómo la memoria se apoya de la fotografía para rememorar el pasado. Parte de esta exploración es el uso de redes sociales para la difusión de este proyecto. Busco explorar la red social Instagram, como plataforma de difusión de trabajo fotográfico, y registrar la cotidianeidad de la relación con mi hija y su proceso de crecimiento para que, de esta manera, funcione como un álbum familiar virtual. También exploro con las posibilidades de imagen que me brinda una de las más importantes redes sociales.

La adaptación de los medios de prensa tradicionales a las nuevas tecnologías no ha resuelto antiguos y polémicos problemas en el ejercicio de la profesión como la manipulación de contenidos fotográficos. Este trabajo reflexiona acerca de los límites éticos y tecnológicos que existen en la edición de imágenes en los medios impresos, a partir del análisis de un conjunto de montajes publicados por la revista Caretas. La investigación hace análisis cualitativo de las narrativas y recoge las justificaciones editoriales de los periodistas para continuar con una práctica antigua que se ha perfeccionado tecnológicamente. El principal hallazgo es que el fotomontaje no solo sirve para generar determinados efectos de sentido, sino que consolida estilos y personalidades definidos en la prensa con los efectos que puede generar en la audiencia.

Nowadays, sugarcane bagasse is obtained as waste from the sugar industry where it is commonly discarded or burned. Nevertheless, this byproduct contains properties that can be used in the packaging industry. The purpose of this scientific article is to analyze the attributes of small films based on sugarcane bagasse to determine their suitability so that with this data they can produce biodegradable packaging. The most notable results of the tests carried out were the Shore hardness level of 85% of dose 1 and a resistance to elongation of 31.58% of dose 2. With this, added value will be achieved to the sugarcane bagasse since use as raw material in the manufacture of products that provide good to the community. The work carried out has a quantitative approach, descriptive method, and techniques such as observation, documentary analysis and analysis of processes and activities were used.
