Mathematical modelling applied to batch milling (at experimental level), is a very important tool to simulate and predict the granulometric yield of a given treated ore; this means, for a given duration of milling operation, to obtain an estimate of the corresponding granulometric analysis, which can then be tested with real data later on, to verify the estimates. The model involves the selection and fracture functions depending on each mesh size in the ore distribution. This will allow the prediction of effective and reliable results, saving costs and more importantly, time, without the need to perform the milling process for each prediction of batch milling.

In the present work we perform the systematic study, employing X-ray diffraction and Mössbauer spectrometry, of the variation of the structural and hyperfine parameters during the milling process of the icosahedral Al64Cu23Fe13 quasicrystal. For this purpose, the samples were prepared by arc-furnace technique followed by heat treatment. Then, the samples were nanoestructured in a high energy ball milling equipment during 5, 10, 15, 20, 45, 50 and 60 hours. The X-ray diffraction patterns show the stability of the nanoestructured samples. Furthermore, the Mössbauer spectra indicate the increase of the Fe-sites in the grain boundary during the milling process.

We propose a process for making a nutraceutical beverage, from camu camu, which strengthens the immune system through their high levels of vitamins, essential amino acids and minerals. This process involves the primary treatment unit operations such as selection, sorting, bleaching, pulping, pulp refining and pulp pasteurization of camu camu. It has managed to drink, preserving all its nutritional properties. The report analyzes the drinking 1334 mg ascorbic acid / 100 ml and 197.90 ppm levels of calcium: magnesium 47.27 ppm to 1.24 ppm of Zn and energy 66.38 calories per 100 ml.

The main objective of this research was to show the predictive model implementation effects adjusted to grinding process on the economic profitability of a rice milling company. In first instance, quality and production area database was used to model a multiple regression equation, using the “Step by Step” technique in Minitab 19, resulting in: Actual Performance = 0.001 + 0.9317Hest Analysis - 0.000339 Processed Sacks; Predictive R2 = 95.81% and PRESS = 47.5168; concluding that the model fits the process, it is significant and has good predictive capacity. The regression equation was then simulated with Monte Carlo by analyzing probabilities and ranges in MS-Excel, earning operational revenue amounting to S/. 3,263,787.74 corresponding to an improvement of 3.94% compared to 2019, thus improving the company's economic profitability to 9.34% in Net Profit Margin and 15.92% in the ROA...

The pre-concentrate of Au-Cu from a gravimetric concentrator FALCON was subjected to different treatment processes in order to separately extract the copper and then the gold, without having success; after some attempts, it was achieved to recover the gold from the correlation of the milling capability and cyanidation, recovering very encouraging tenors through the application of models of milling batch proposed by Magne, Austin and Concha, and for the cyanidation, it was applied the Kinetic Nucleus Recessive Model with the following offered configuration: 1 -2α/3 – (1-α)2/3= 3.30*10-10(0.015 + 0.0006TM) *(TM)5.5124*t The concentrate sample with around 10 Oz. of gold per ton and 2.50% of copper, tested in a milling to 96% - 200 nets and leached with 0.4% of cyanide for 70 hours obtained recoveries higher than 95%, with an average consumption of 46 Kg. of cyanide per ton of mineral.

En este estudio, se examinó el proceso de pilado de arroz, para aumentar la productividad. Este análisis implicó evaluar la situación actual de la empresa, donde se identificaron los indicadores relacionados con la productividad, producción y la eficiencia en el uso de la materia prima. La productividad global se estimó en 0,207 sacos de arroz pilado/soles. Se determinó las distintas etapas, utilizando un diagrama de análisis del proceso. Se identificó el cuello de botella, que era la etapa de secado, que se realiza de forma artesanal y requería un tiempo de 2,49 minutos/ sacos de arroz pilado; con una eficiencia física del 57,23%. This study was performed in an agro-industrial milling company with the aim of reducing operative costs over the production and manteinance areas. The company's data was obtained through an interview and documentary analysis. Initial diagnosis was made using the following methods: SWOT analysis, Porter's five forces, PESTLE analysis, IFE and EFE Matrix, Ishikawa diagram and Pareto chart. An improvement plan was designed including tools related to Production Management and Manteinance Management: Demand Forecasting, MRP, Preventing Manteinance Plan, Transport network optimization, SRM and Process Standarizing. The aim of this study was to determinate the isozymic characteristic of six Annona cherimola populations from La Libertad Region. Leaves of trees with at least two fructifications were collected in six localities: La Cuesta, Paday, Samne, Cascas, Poroto and Trujillo. The samples were processed and the electrophoretic profiles of the enzymes PGI, APCH, MDH and ME were analyzed. We found polymorphism for the loci PGI-1 and ME, with seven and two alleles respectively, average values of 0,40 for polymorphism and mean heterozygosity between 0,206 (La Cuesta) and 0,285 (Poroto). There is high phenotypic and genotypic variability in six Annona cherimola populations in La Libertad Region.
