Different fellowships programs to public school teachers have been developed in Latin-American. In Perú, this new program has been managed by Pronabec financing fellowships for teachers of different regions during 2014-2015. Thisstudy is addressed to analyze the teachers´ dilemmas faced when they applied; and, explore the future professional perspectives of this kind of teacher. This paper aims to explain and present a proposal to introduce Disaster Risk Management (DRM) topics into ESAN Graduate School of Business Master’s programs. Although disasters have cost Peru more than USD 7,600 million in the past 2 decades the business sector, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises, have not developed preventive or continuity plans mainly because they are not familiar with DRM topics. Taking this into consideration, the paper presents a detailed academic/curricular proposal for DRM topics such as business continuity, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable management. Additionally, it introduces the idea of promoting Disaster Risk Management (DRM) topics to the Peruvian business community as a strategy to enhance the graduate education.

Strategies for communicating information have undergone many changes, which have been evidenced in the pandemic. The idea is to be able to connect with the student and that the information is received in a clear, timely and relevant manner, so that he/she will have the prior knowledge to integrate information from theory and practice, in order to successfully face the simulated activity, as well as when interacting with the patient. In this context, the inverted classroom is a didactic strategy that provides videos, podcasts, among others, to be reviewed in advance, so that when the student performs the face-to-face or virtual activity, the most important concepts are deepened and clarified, using active participation methodologies to achieve the following objective: Invested learning seeks a change in the dynamics of learning that points to the student as its axis. The objective of this...

In recent years, the evolution plan in the educational system and curriculum has been one of the most important topics in educational circles. This implies that the programs implemented in higher educational system have not been fully achieved for various reasons. One of the most important reasons is "not paying attention to the localization approach in the curriculum". Curriculum planning is one of the interdisciplines that can play an important role in influencing the curriculum process of humanities. However, the lack of a suitable native curriculum model has made it increasingly dependent on foreign sources and plenty of used terms are imported and translated, resulting in little attention to customs, culture, social, economic and political conditions of society. Although our culture and civilization derive from the most complete and highest order of divine teaching, the educational ...

The aim of this study is to demonstrate that significant differences emerge when comparing the evaluation of teachers’ competences from the perspective of the students of the four specialized master’s programs at CENTRUM PUCP, Lima. The applied research was of a non-experimental design, employing comparative description and hypothetical-deductive and quantitative methods. The sample was composed of 143 students from four specialized master’s programs, chosen at random. The information was gathered through a survey, by means of a questionnaire containing 30 items associated with teacher competences. Using the Kruskal-Wallis Test, a meaningful inference was obtained (p-value <0.01) statistically demonstrating the general hypothesis. It can therefore be concluded that significant differences arise when comparing the evaluation of teachers’ competences from the perspective of the ...

iP cores (intellectual Property cores) are for hardware design what libraries are for computer programming. They are typically used in the style and form of a discrete integrated circuit, where the “circuit board” is a larger design in asic or FPGa. a core intellectual property often takes the form of a software program written in hDl such as verilog, vhDl or systemc. ideally, an iP-core must be fully portable, meaning that it can be easily adapted to any technology from other suppliers or different design methods. receivers/transmitters universal asynchronous (uart), central Processing units (cPu), ethernet controllers, interfaces Pci are examples of iP-cores. This paper presents the adaptation of a 16-channel PWm iPcore to a separate brick structure similar to soc (system on chip). We did not implement a microprocessor as master of the system, instead a complex state machine runs a...
