The almost fifty-four years that separate the harangue from Haya de la Torre in the Plaza de Acho from the meeting with which Alan García closes his campaign on the Paseo de la República - prolonged by successive presidential "balconazos" - would illustrate with ease how certain features of the Subaltern cultures endure in spite of the obvious and important differences of characterization that throughout this long period we find in Peruvian society. However, that smell of crowds is inseparable from the way in which the masses construct the real through the means of communication; the field of view of political science should be extended to the study of mass culture to grasp the permanent and the changing in a broader dimension. In this essay a theoretical reflection on the subject is outlined.

The adnexal mass is the tumor that can be located in the ovary, fallopian tube or the surrounding connective tissue (mesosalpinx, mesoovarian tissue and broad ligament). It is a common gynecological problem. The previous determination of benignancy or malignancy is essential for an adequate management. There is a variety of radiological methods, biomarkers and pre-surgical clinical methods and predictive models that have been studied and validated in the world to differentiate the etiology of the adnexal masses. This article deals with works of art that were used in Andean churches to encourage the Christian cult of the dead during the colonial period. We argue that these works played an important role in the establishment of the cult as a replacement for the Andean cult of the dead. We also show how these works changed over the course of the colonial period, from presenting symbolic images to representing narrative scenes. One important type of work was the altar frontal, which served as a backdrop to the mass and therefore was an appropriate place for expressing concepts of Christian doctrine regarding the dead, such as the idea of purgatory and the dogma of salvation.

Objective: To identify the association between the body mass index (BMI) and serum lipid levels in adult people. Material and Methods: Observational, transversal and retrospective study. Non experimental investigation design. The population was conformed for people treated in private health centers in Metropolitan Lima. The evaluations of the BMI and the laboratorial tests to know the seric concentration of lipids were taken between October 2014 and October 2015. It was determined the association between the BMI and the seric lipid levels using the Chi2 test. People with comorbidity that could modify the seric levels of lipids were excluded. El presente trabajo de investigación comprende el análisis, desarrollo e implementación de una aplicación móvil para la búsqueda de tiendas Mass utilizando geolocalización, La cual actualmente no cuenta con una aplicación para ubicar otras sucursales de las tiendas Mass. El objetivo de la investigación es determinar en qué medida el uso de un aplicativo móvil incrementará el nivel de satisfacción de la búsqueda tiendas Mass utilizando geolocalización. El tipo de estudio es aplicada-experimental y el diseño es de tipo pre-experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 personas que realice la encuesta. Los resultados demuestran el valor de nivel de satisfacción al momento de buscar una tienda Mass, aumentó en un 5.63, y a la vez disminuyó el tiempo de búsqueda en un 1.63 minutos. This research is focused on establishing the load capacity of the rockbolts commonly used in Peru based on their length. Initially, we aimed to perform the pull tests on granite blocks at San Marcos University Campus, they were carried out under real operating mining conditions, at Reliquias, Castrovirreyna Mining Company (Huancavelica) during March of the current year. The rockbolts tested were: Split Set, Threaded Rebars, Hydrabolt and Swellex, which were suitably conditioned to have an effective anchorage of 1 to 4 feet. The Split Set and Threaded Rebars were cut and delivered as per our request by PRODAC and Aceros Arequipa, respectively. Both, Hydrabolt and Swellex rockbolts, supplied by New Concept Mining and Atlas Copco, were piped around to allow the anchorage of the established lengths only. In the present study we delve into the importance of physical activity in the school context since it favors the improvement of health. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between physical activity and the Body Mass Index in students aged 10 to 13 years of the National College of Application of the National University Hermilio Valdizán. The study was descriptive with a causal correlational design, the sample included 121 students, the data collected was through a questionnaire and BMI form. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar el nivel de concordancia entre la Bioimpedancia eléctrica multifrecuencia y el método antropométrico Relative Fat Mass, en la estimación del porcentaje de grasa corporal. La investigación se realizó en una población de 144 colaboradores de una universidad privada de Lima – Este, con un rango etario de 20 a 59 años (72 varones y 72 mujeres). Para evaluar el nivel de concordancia se utilizó la prueba estadística Coeficiente de Correlación Intraclase (CCI). Los resultados indicaron un CCI = 0.955 (p < 0.05) para la población general, CCI = 0.865 (p < 0.05) para mujeres y CCI = 0.802 (p < 0.05) para varones, se concluyó que existe muy buena fiabilidad (CCI > 0.75) para la intercambiabilidad de estos métodos en la población estudiada.

The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of physical activity, body mass index (BMI) and lifestyle on students of the UNMSM Professional School of Physical Education, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The population, 570 students; random sample by saturation 230, as an instrument the questionnaire of lifestyle habits, physical activity and quality of life, for the BMI data sheet, the study was developed in a quantitative approach, type applied causal descriptive design, transactional. To demonstrate the impact, the linear regression coefficient was used, concluding that there is no impact on the quality of life of BMI or physical activity, but there is an impact of healthy living on quality of life, with a predictability of 38.9. %.

Over the last fifty years, indigenous leadership has undergone a series of important transformations. This trajectory has been dominated by a process of merging and reworking different models of leadership fromlocal, national and global contexts. In all of this, the creative use of visual tools and mass media has played a fundamental role. Within the Peruvian political scenario, the figure of Alberto Pizango Chota, Shawi leader ofthe Aidesep organisation, has set an important precedent in this regard. His case is an exemplary field of study on the extraordinary possibilities of exhibition, the use of images, the fabrication of aesthetics and the elaboration of new expressive codes. These are all elements that contemporary Amazonian leadership can propose and disseminate through digital technologies and relations with the mass media.
