La inferencia de redes de interacción de genes a partir de perfiles de expresión es un problema importante investigado en biología sistémica, siendo considerado un problema abierto. En este trabajo, el problema de agrupamiento de instancias fue formulado como un problema de búsqueda en el reticulado de particiones, además de formular estrategias de búsqueda en este reticulado en base a información a priori (por ejemplo: que una red de genes tiende a estar compuesta principalmente por funciones y canalizaciones). Además, desarrollamos un método de transferencia de aprendizaje supervisado obtenido de la inferencia de redes generadas aleatoriamente (sintéticas) que busca estimar las dimensiones correctas (grados) de los conjuntos de genes predictores para los respectivos genes objetivo. The aim of the thesis was to develop a robust procedure for timber assortment estimation of trees in a mixed-species and multi-layered forest using LiDAR data. To achieve the objective, the thesis is divided into three sub-objectives. The first research aim was to provide an overview of the most recent approaches used in timber assortment estimation using LiDAR data, through a literature review; the second study aim was to provide a stepwise approach to assess the stem volume and carbon stock at single tree level using Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) data, while the third study aim was to provide a stepwise approach to retrieve the timber assortment information from forest stands using Terrestrial Laser scanning (TLS) data. These studies were carried out in Bosco Pennataro, a Mediterranean forest belonging to the Central Apennine Mountains in Molise (Italy).

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Diseño de un robot móvil con direccionamiento diferencial usando lógica difusa y escaneo LiDAR para desinfección por radiación UV-C de espacios cerrados”, permitió mediante la radiación UV-C a través de tiras led ensambladas en un robot móvil la desinfección de espacios cerrados en hospitales. Se dimensionó la estructura mecánica y sistema eléctrico del robot móvil teniendo en cuenta su autonomía energética y velocidad máxima, asimismo se seleccionó un controlador Raspberry Pi para hacer el procesamiento de las señales del sensor LiDAR y lograr hacer un mapeo de la zona a desinfectar. En el presente estudio de investigación, se desarrolló Levantamiento topográfico con scanner LiDAR Móvil IP-S2 para la obtención de información plani - altimétrica del trazo de obras lineales del proyecto de mejoramiento y ampliación de los sistemas de agua potable y alcantarillado km 40 antigua panamericana sur, departamento de Lima, se llevó a cabo el trabajo de campo, realizándose la recolección de datos en tres etapas; la primera etapa fue: el levantamiento topográfico con el scanner LiDAR, la segunda etapa el levantamiento topográfico con vuelo de dron y la tercera etapa la recolección de datos a través del levantamiento topográfico satelital, y sus respectivos procesamiento de datos. The challenges for quality education are complex given the high dropout rates. In Chile, this population is managed by the Youth and Adult Education modality, which there is not enough information on these educational trajectories. The aim of this quantitative research was to characterize these students, inquiring about how to tackle school dropout. The results show a mostly male population, under twenty-five years, with low attendance and low marks. From the MLR analysis, attendance, gender and level of education are the factors that most explain school performance, determining the continuity of the school trajectory. In order to provide new opportunities for lifelong learning, it is suggested to focus on intervention strategies with a systemic approach.

O estudo teve como objetivo compreender as implicações percebidas da espiritualidade e do sentido da vida na saúde mental de estudantes universitários adultos emergentes. A pesquisa foi qualitativa com delineamento fenomenológico narrativo. Foi utilizada amostragem intencional de casos típicos; a amostra foi composta por 16 participantes, sendo 68,75% mulheres e 31,25% homens. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e a análise de conteúdo foi conduzida com o apoio do software ATLAS.ti 9. This research sought to describe the physical, psychological, social, and academic consequences of university students during the first year of confinement, and to identify the main coping strategies used. Following a qualitative methodology, 67 university students from different regions of the country were interviewed. The results showed that there was an initial acceptance of confinement by students, as an extreme sanitary measure necessary to reduce cases of contagion, but that as time went by it began to be perceived as a terrible experience characterized by the loss of routines, lack of control and permanent uncertainty that ended up affecting different areas of their functioning. Background: The ability to efficiently regulate emotions may be essential for young university students to face the stressful events that occur in their daily life, thus preventing the possibility of suffering anxiety, depression, behavioral problems and poor academic performance. Objectives: The present study aimed to analyze the relationship that difficulties in emotional regulation and personality have with life satisfaction. Method: This correlational and cross-sectional study was conducted with 250 male and female students from a Chilean public university. In our health system, health personnel only focus on treating pain, solving each case and forgetting the human side of pregnant women and families. A lack of preparation on the part of professionals in perinatal death and mourning is evident, giving rise to avoidance behaviors derived from feelings of incompetence to face these situations. For this reason, specific training of health professionals is necessary on the approach to perinatal grief, emphasizing psychological support for parents and communication behaviors, in addition to the creation of protocols and action guides.

This study aimed to understand the experience of young men and women with drug trafficking and the impact on drug use, involvement in criminal groups and insecurity. A case study design was utilized, with a focus group of 10 male and female participants. Results show that violence and insecurity generated by drug trafficking has encouraged the young people to avoid consumption of illegal drugs, or opt for easily accessible drugs to cope with the constant attempts by members of organized crime to recruit them.

This systematic review of the literature was carried out on a national journals basis, between June / 2015 and February / 2016, using the descriptors: «intrafamily violence and elderly» and «mistreatment and elderly», in order to identify the frequencies of the studies, years of publications, major difficulties of the network and how the problem of violence is perceived by the study participants.
