A través de la presente entrevista, el Dr. Manuel Pulgar-Vidal se pronuncia sobre algunos aspectos cruciales vinculados a la gestión que viene realizando el Ministerio del Ambiente (MINAM) en materia de Desarrollo Sostenible. Regardless of the difficult scenario facing the Paris Agreement with the recent withdrawal of the US, Peru will continue to comply with its international obligations and consolidating its national policies and frameworks related to climate change. Although Peru entered the international negotiation process late – basically from COP 20 onwards- it has had a decisive participation and influence in its outcome, the Paris Accord. Pero has for over a decade, been developing a robust internal architecture of norms and institutions, to launch the country towards a greener economy. With the difficulties that this means for a developing country like Peru, the future leads inevitably to the search of clean and environmentally friendly and sustainable economies.

Esta investigación busca determinar si la viabilidad económica de proyectos forestales como mecanismos de desarrollo limpio para empresas privadas y países desarrollados partícipes del Protocolo de Kyoto en el departamento de San Martín, permiten el desarrollo de la actividad forestal; además, busca desarrollar un modelo lineal multivariable en donde se relacionen tanto las variables económicas como las variables ambientales, permitiendo un análisis de correlación entre las mismas.

Global warming is an alarming phenomenon, with disastrous consequences, which causes high concentrations of gases "greenhouse" (especially carbon dioxide, CO2), resulting primarily from human activity are. Since the 90s of last cen-tury, there is the conviction that must change the socio- economic development model to one that is friendlier to the environment; but for this there must be a consensus among nations to make it happen. While there has been progress with the implementa-tion of the Kyoto Protocol in the sense of achieving a binding agreement, no progress has been made by the existence of different positions in the negotiations. La tesis se titulada: Incidencia del consumo de combustible en la huella de carbono en la ciudad de Moyobamba, fue desarrollada haciendo uso del método de observación directa en campo y el recojo de información mediante una encuesta contemplándose como objetivo general “Evaluar la incidencia de consumo de combustible en la huella de carbono en la ciudad de Moyobamba”. Se recolectaron datos como marcas de vehículos, frecuencia de trabajo, uso de combustible en galones, tipo de combustible utilizados, entre otros que fueron de suma importancia y relevancia permitiendo dar cumplimiento a lo propuesto. Este Proyecto de investigación tiene información que se maneja para referencia básica y otros fines, sobre la estimación de captura de carbono en el bosque natural secundario. Es muy importante el resultado; ya que se puede trabajar futuros proyectos que tengan como fin la disminución de las concentraciones atmosféricas a través de la captura de carbono atmosférico (absorción por almacenes naturales).
