Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The literature consulted shows that theorizations on social innovation, recommend cultivating relational capital and theories and models PR provide methods and techniques to reliably achieve said capital. This article describes a technique that uses innovation tools for process improvement aimed at providing new and better ways to apply methodologies, such as PDCA, Six Sigma, kaizen and jidoka, among others, that are currently used in companies. To this end, tools that involve employees of companies whose processes are not reaching the strategic objectives will be used. This methodology consists of six steps: the first three are focused on the definition, measurement and analysis of the problem, while the next three address the design, tests, and implementation and control of the solution. This tool seeks breakthrough results for companies during the process of analysis and implementation of improvements that result from applying the methodology described herein. Using the case method, the proposed methodology is applied to a real case and its results are validated.

Suffrage did not originate as the right we know today, but was aligned with the social interests of those groups that held power. This paper offers an overview of the evolution of the electoral process in the Peruvian democratic system, with a focus on the latest contributions made in 2006. The author discusses the constitutional reform that granted police and military personnel the right to vote, the implementation of the electoral barrier, and the Political Parties Act. Additionally, the author evaluates the possibility of non-reelection for congressional positions and highlights pending tasks such as granting the right to vote for incarcerated individuals and eliminating the preferential vote.

Mexico’s public hospitals are experiencing major operational problems, such as process and service failure, as well as the lack of supplies and medical equipment. Some hospitals have started kaizen philosophy-based efforts to improve this situation. The main objective of the research is to explore the implementation of the kaizen philosophy in the above-mentioned hospitals. The research used a qualitative methodology and the case study strategy. The results show that it is feasible to optimize the Covid-19 emergency and treatment process by applying kaizen philosophy, process innovation and jidoka techniques.

A strategic plan for innovation is an essential tool for any academic institution. This disruptive strategic plan for innovation maximizes the value and benefits for public and private institutions using the logical framework and the house of quality. With the logical framework of action, the input data for planning is clear, the rest of the activities of the house of quality (product design, process design and process control) are direct. The house of quality is the most effective technique to understand and even quantify the value of proposals. In addition, applied to a university, it ensures the obtaining of funds (money) that support and promote the development of innovation by prioritizing the voice of the customer (Innovate).

Fintech is a type of startup with a disruptive business model that provides digital financial services. One of its main competitive advantages is that they continually innovate, which is why the management of the resulting innovation relevant to them. In Peru, although the fintech ecosystem is growing, there are no empirical studies dealing with innovation in fintech.
