The goal of the present work is to study some properties and applications of the Gamma Function, denoted by Γ. Initially, we use the Lebesgue Integral Theory in order to prove that the improper integral given by Γ is convergent. We describe the extended domain property of Γ, and we also deduce some elementary properties. We present two different ways of proving that B(x, y) = Γ(x)Γ(y)/Γ(x+y) , where B is the Beta Function. Finally, we include some applications of the Gamma Function, between them some serve up as tools on Reliability Engineering.

The maximum chemical and functional conservation of the yacón by the organic sterilization system, was achieved by applying a load of 4 kg / pouch, 1 min. process time and temperature 100 °C saturated steam injection. Under these conditions, was obtained 2,4 % (db) protein and 52 % (db) of fructooligosaccharides. Regarding the microbial load, 60,59 % (10 CFU / g), 65,76 % (20 CFU / g) and 0 % (<10 CFU / g) for aerobes, molds, and yeasts, respectively decreased; pathogenic behavior was very similar to that of the raw material: E. coli <3 CFU / g, absence of Salmonella (25 g) and <3 CFU / g for total coliforms, whose samples were able to adjust to the demands of the health standard Peruvian and international standards; which showed that applying the OSS technology is accomplished to preserve the nutritional and functional quality of yacon.

The Childhood Executive Functioning Inventory (CHEXI) is a widely used test in educational settings to identify deficits in Executive Functions (EF). This study aimed to adapt and evaluate the Spanish version of CHEXI in a sample of participants from Ecuador (n = 467). The study measured understanding using slightly different versions of the instrument, one initially administered to 373 participants and another withthree item changes used to assess 144 new participants. Cronbach’s alpha (α) and McDonald’s omega (ω) were used to assess internal consistency. Absolute (χ²/df) and incremental fit indices (CFI, TLI, SRMR,RMSEA) evaluated construct validity. The two-factor structure of CHEXI (Working Memory and Inhibition) was successfully replicated, demonstrating a good fit and high internal consistency. The Spanish version, with the two first-order correlated factors and modificatio...

In the present work we realize a systematic study of the optical properties of transition metal dichalcogenides using time dependent density functional theory for the determination of excited states of conduction band considering the electron density as a time dependent functional and temporarily affect the screening Coulomb potential which is used in Dyson equation for electric susceptibility determination. We calculate the real and imaginary parts of dielectric function which permit us to observe the absorption coefficient and the plasmon formation for electromagnetic radiation photons from the infrared (25 meV) to ultraviolet (30 eV) range. And we found that the imaginary parts of zz component of the 2D systems have not absorption peaks, meanwhile, the xx, yy and zz components of the 2D systems have not shown plasma frequencies.

Conc...

In Roman Law, the classification of property into movable and immovable has responded to a criterion of mobility corresponding to the nature and physical characteristics of things. On the other hand, in the old French Law, the classification criterion was mainly based on an economic criterion, in which the value, the duration and the possibility of the goods to produce income periodically predominated. With the implementation of the French Civil Code (1804), the division between movable and immovable property acquired universality, being repeated in almost all Western legislations. However, in this paper we recognize that this classification has certain shortcomings, especially because it doesn’t meet all current requirements. Thus, its ineffectiveness is criticized, as well as the ineffectiveness of Peruvian legislation because it’s based on it. In this line, it’s proposed to repl...
