Introduction: endemic pemphigus foliaceus (PFE) has been described at the beginning of the 50s in the peruvian forest. In 2006,Ortega & col. reported the presence of desmoglein 1 antibodies in Pueblo Libre, Ucayali. Nevertheless, immune reports does not exist on patients relatives with PFE in the zone.Objetives: to compare the immunopathologic profiles of healthy subjects from Pueblo Libre (an area in Ucayali, endemic for pemphigus foliaceus), with healthy relatives of patients with endemic pemphigus foliaceus (EPF) and healthy controls from non-endemic areas.Materials and methods: this is a prospective multicentric study performed from June to August 2006. The sample consisted of 41 healthy subjects from the Pueblo Libre community, 11 relatives of EPF patients and 20 healthy subjects from non-endemic areas. Blood samples were obtained for immunopathologic studies (E...

In this essay, I aim to interpret Miles's book "God. A biography" based on certain notions of scholastic thought, especially Suarezian, in order to adapt this theology to the demands of subjectivity. First, I examine the concept of God derived from the scholastic tradition and how -although it constitutes an important inheritance- it is not sufficient for the understanding of the Christian God. Second, I expose the theses of Miles and those of the scholastic tradition concerning the creation of the human being in the image and likeness of God and the individuality of both. Finally, I explain how these postulates can be reconciled through a theology of subjectivity in order to reestablish a dialectical relationship between human beings and God.

In the present article an approach to the central approaches to the hermeneutic phenomenological methodology, as a way of approaching the particular subjective experience, is made. It is on the basis of philosophers such as Husserl (2012), Heidegger (2008) and Merleau-Ponty (1945), that possibilities of approaching the construction of reality at a particular level have arisen, which is an interesting field of study. This study makes a systematic review of 4 ways of approaching the particular experience from a phenomenological and hermeneutic dimension, the methodologies considered are: The human sciences paradigm for phenomenological study by Max Van Manen (1990); Descriptive phenomenological method in psychology by Amedeo Giorgi (1986, 2009); Microphenomenological interview by Claire Petitmengin (2006) and The Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) by Jonathan Smith and Mike Osb...

This paper begins with the “ending” – both in regards to its termination as well as of its full completion – of the modern subject, which was believed able to structure, legalize and manipulate the whole of reality by the very power of its consciousness. In this regards it will be analyzed how consciousness, intentionally structured, operates in Husser’s work, and the Heidegger’s judgment of this understanding, as well as his own phenomenology of existence. Starting with this presentation, it will be researched how Levinas follows and goes beyond Heidegger, by affirming that he is unable to account for the “origin” of human subjectivity: the nomination and invocation of the Other. The main moment of this article analyses the birth of subjectivity in the answer to this invocation.

The dialectical imagination, the poetic imagination and the experimental imagination, are addressed as three types of imagination useful to account for debates and philosophical positions on issues such as "second nature", therapy and poetry in the analytic tradition or the consequences of the empirical turn in more recent times. Once this has been made explicit, dialogues are established with Donald Davidson's approaches to subjective experience and truth, and reference is made to melancholy as an explanatory fold in the subject's relationship with the world.

International human rights treaties and conventions create parameters to determine what is and what is not subject to statute of limitations in domestic laws. The legal principle of statute of limitations is generally used in the protection of human rights, and not for the benefit of the States. The purpose of this paper is to present a substantive analysis and constructive criticism of what is not subject to statute of limitations, hence favoring the Bolivian State, such as cases of crimes of corruption and tax matters. These cases are not compatible withinternational treaties and conventions on human rights.

Over the last decades, happiness has become an important subject addressed by several disciplines, leading to reflection on its possible application in public policies. An interdisciplinary team of researchers has brought together the most common notions associated with happiness in Peru, based on interviews with heads of households in the poorest and the wealthiest districts in the country. This paper will examine those findings from the Aristotelian theoretical framework, in order to provide a theoretical basis for possible public policies. The classical Aristotelian or Eudaimonism theory distinguishes between superficial and more profound conceptions of happiness. This article asserts that policies oriented to happiness foster full lives that include access to health, education and employment, and the encouragement of citizen solid...

The present work is presented as an approach between the notion of the imaginary with the theory of the film viewer, formulated in 1956 by Edgar Morin, in his classic text The cinema or the imaginary man and enlarged by Francesco Casetti with the thesis of the enunciation in the cinema. In this way, the main objective of this article is to capture theoretical bases from the reflection of both conceptualizations. Thus, this initiatory work aims to be an epistemological contribution to future research projects. For this, at the methodological level, an initial theoretical path is developed that has its anchor -and its respective critical reading- in the contributions of Gilbert Durand and Cornelius Castoriadis, in the permanent concern of both for “drawing” those elements inherent in anthropos that allow the construction of their historical-social environment from subjectivity. The lat...

From the exposition of a sentence that has left unpunished the strangulation of a trans woman in the city of Iquitos, this article exposes, compiling empirical investigations, the situation of trans women in Peru. Through the presentation of human rights reports prepared by LGTBIQ collectives from 2004 to the present, the purpose of this analysis is to have references and inputs that allow us to outline what gender law can do to avoid impunity and to guarantee effective protection against the violence perpetrated, with particular cruelty, against these women.

This research work analyzed the experiences lived in the didactics of the mathematics by the teachers in the Amazonas region, whose emergent significance was the pedagogical affection in teaching understood as a process whereby two or more people interact socially, one of the passions of the mood. The study was conducted using the process of the hermeneutic phenomenological method with a criterion sample of five teachers of the area; the techniques used are close observation and conversational interview. Also, the instrument to collect the testimonies of each teacher and reflect about them was the anecdote. Thematic units emerged from them such as concern, confidence, humility, hope, empathy, among others, and the affection as a general meaning. From the experiences lived by the teachers, the affectivity emerges in the teaching of mathematics, which leads to good personal relationships, ...

The psychometric properties of a Subjective Well-being Scale were analyzed for adolescent students participating in the evaluations of PISA 2018. The sample included 67,503 adolescent students from Bulgaria, Georgia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, Panama, Serbia, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Different models were evaluated for the Subjective Well-being Scale. Reliability was validated with the McDonald’s Omega coefficient, validity with the Confirmatory Factor Analysis and invariance with the Multigroup Factor Analysis. The Bifactorial model, with a general factor called Subjective Well-being and three specific factors called Satisfaction with Life, Positive Affects and Negative Affects, yielded the best fit indices. The analyses of the Subjective Well-being Scale applied to adolescent students from the four countries studied, yielded evidence of validity, reliability and inva...

This paper is the result of a five-year investigation. It was made to understand roles that women play in both war and peace in Colombia. They are analyzed as participants in both constructs, war and peace, but also as political subjects that promote social transformation, recognizing in this effort the role they play as journalists in the media, in the duty of generating public opinion that strengthens the processes of women’s empowerment in the search for new states of peace in equity, and the reconstruction of the social frame in territories. The methodology is applied in two countries: Colombia and Peru. In Colombia, interviews are held in territories such as Arauca, Caquetá, Meta, Putumayo and Tolima, plus the systematization of testimonies that are gathered in the framework of meetings in which insurgent women (linked to armed groups) and women victims of the armed conflict...

The investigation had three objectives; The first was to identify the variables that affect the self-perception of poverty of the residents of the Challhuahuacho district; then analyze the relationship of the displaced population and their self-perception of poverty; The third objective was to explore the possible contribution of the Las Bambas mining project to the subjective well-being of the local population. The research design was non-experimental and cross-sectional, descriptive correlational type. The study population was the heads of household, with a sample of three hundred and fifty, selected by simple probabilistic sampling. To collect the information, a questionnaire referring to personal information, the environment and the level of satisfaction in various domains of life was applied. The results obtained for the first objective show that the variables: education, displaceme...
