Durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, el Perú fue partícipe de una de las celebraciones más importantes de ese periodo: las exposiciones universales. Este tipo de evento tenía como objetivo la presentación de muestras representativas de cada nación, con las cuales podía medir su proceso de construcción de la nación y su desarrollo en comparación a otros países de similares o diferentes características. Para el estudio de estos eventos en particular, el trabajo de archivo es fundamental. La creación de criterios de organización de la información sería de utilidad tanto para un historiador en formación como para un investigador con experiencia. Introduction: One of the most serious problems of medical students is occupational exposure during their clinical training as they lack experience and limited development of hand skills. Objectives: To establish the frequency, mechanisms, circumstances and risk factors of biological accidents reported in medical students. Design: Descriptive observational transversal type study. Objective: To characterize the geriatric patient profile and identify the mortality-associated factors in a population over 80 years hospitalized with COVID-19 infection in the geriatric ward of a university hospital in the city of Bogotá.Materials and methods: An analytical observational retrospective cohort study based on chart reviews was conducted. The study included patients over 80 years with confirmed COVID-19 infection from March 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021. The dependent variable was mortality and the independent variables were age, clinical factors, baseline characteristics and paraclinical status.Results: Two hundred eighty (280) patients with a median age of 84 years, most of whom were overweight, were identified. Universal Exhibitions (EXPO), date from 1850, and represent a powerful international event to encourage progress, the promotion of development and a visible expression of the process of globalization. In Peru, the press severely criticized that the nation did not attend to the 2015 EXPO. It is hence worth asking if this was first time the country did not participate in one of these events. This essay, in this context addresses. The relevance of the EXPO, as it analyses their contributions, to the above from a historical perspective, and points out its usefulness to adding value in businesses. Given EXPO resonance, for the purpose of positioning a national image, it is also seen as necessary to review, in ending, the relationships between The Government and private firms within the framework of commercial policies.

Objetivo: Evaluar si los factores de riesgo por exposición al benceno en la industria farmacéutica, permiten evitar la neurotoxicidad, ya que dicho solvente es manejado con frecuencia, especialmente en el área de control de calidad. Metodología: Es de nivel descriptivo, de corte transversal con enfoque cuantitativo, el cual, se realizó mediante una revisión sistemática de 25 artículos y tesis de investigación referente al tema, en la que se aplicó una búsqueda bibliográfica en las diferentes bases de datos como: Pubmed, SCielo, Redalyc y Scopus donde luego esta fue revisada y analizada a través de la aplicación de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión; finalmente dicha información fue procesada. El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio de dos Pabellones peruanos: el presentado en la Exposición Iberoamericana de Sevilla 1929 y el diseñado para la Exposición Universal de Dubái 2020, analizando las diferentes ideas que están detrás de la concepción del guion museográfico y el diseño de cada edificio. Para ello, se analiza el proceso a través de la historia de las exposiciones internacionales para conocer la importancia de realizar este tipo de eventos. One of the abilities required by several carriers in San Marcos University is oral expression. Professors manifest that students do not express properly, that is the reason why some carriers have considered the implementation, in their curricular system, of evaluation through oral expression- it means expositions- as a way of solving the problem. To deal with the mentioned problem in the course of Spanish (Lengua Española), we look into the difficulties that students present when they speak to an audience in the performance of a story. We analyze the answers given by students to questions that contrastthe difficulties they have between the familiar and electronic oral discursive practices and the requirement of the discursive practices of the university area.

This research is quantitative descriptive correlational type, with the purpose to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and degree of exposure to occupational hazard of nurses from the health center Nuevo Chimbote, 2015. The sampling universe was composed by 20 nurses and 13 nursing technicians who met the criteria. Data were collected through two instruments, a questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge on occupational health and an observation guide of exposure to occupational risk, these were made by the author. With the application of these instruments the following results: 1. “Plutarch in ‘The True Intellectual System of the Universe’”. In The True Intellectual System of the Universe Ralph Cudworth uses a great deal of sources in order to reconstruct past doctrines. In this paper, I propose that we pay attention to the way he uses Plutarch of Chaeronea’s work. The hypothesis that guides this article sustains that Cudworth uses this work as a source of ancient thought despite not totally agreeing with his interpretation of Plato. This means that Plutarch’s work has two levels of reading: on the one hand, its exposition as a source of other authors; and, on the other hand, the interpretation that Plutarch himself makes of his sources, especially, of Plato. This will allow me to draw some conclusions concerning Cudworth’s work as a historian of philosophy and his relationship with Platonic philosophy.

The article seeks to establish, to some extent, the concepts of the teaching that faculty handles. Also, it tries to demystify some “truths” and stereotypes about teaching and that some sectors of the university teachers are still expressing. It also stresses the fact that for exercise teaching it is required a prior preparation since the intuitive education now is not only inappropriate but even dangerous. University teachers need a double profession: the profession itself and that provided by specific teacher preparation for aspects of teaching and pedagogy. Finally, it clearly differentiates the various levels of intervention in the classroom: the presentation, the giving of classes and teaching, stating clearly that to give classes and teaching is not the same thing. The first is often amateurish work obliged and the second is effective and illustrated expertise.

In times where the consumer is able to find what he wants without being interrupted by advertising, advertisers are required to expand their messages through new alternatives that connect the audience with the brand in an attractive way. The advergame is part of these new tools as it seeks to retain consumers through interactive games that represent the brand’s values, characteristics and benefits. To understand the influence of this advertising tool in Lima’s youth, this article makes an analysis on the attitude they generate towards the brand depending on the treatment that is given in the game, the exposure time and other variables.

En The True Intellectual System of the Universe Ralph Cudworth utiliza una gran cantidad de fuentes para reconstruir algunas doctrinas del pasado. En este trabajo propongo prestar atención al uso que realiza el inglés de la obra de Plutarco de Queronea. La hipótesis que guía el trabajo sostiene que Cudworth hace uso de esa obra como fuente del pensamiento antiguo a pesar de no estar enteramente de acuerdo con su interpretación de Platón. Esto significa que se aprecian dos niveles de lectura de las obras de Plutarco: por una parte, la exposición como fuente de otros autores; y por otra, la interpretación que el propio Plutarco realiza de las fuentes, en especial, de Platón. Esto me permitirá obtener algunas conclusiones sobre la labor de Cudworth como historiador de la filosofía y su relación con la filosofía platónica.
